Morisato Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 woot.. thanks Yup, i've tried those steps yesterday. Unfortunately, I guess it didn't work. I've reached my 225kbps mark, but it's off-peak when I tested it. And now, still at my unbreakable 80kbps mark Well, I'm not surprised, to think there are 21 users in my AP. lol
coolbuster2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 you can always switch to a better AP if that's the case.
Morisato Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 Well, that's a bit of a problem here.. Other APs have 28+. And I noticed, there is even one AP which has more than 80 sector usercount. And I was like... WOW

coolbuster2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 good values already. i suspect 2 causes of slow connection on your end. 1. base station has a problem. 2. you have not cleaned your pc for viruses, trojans, spywares, junk and unwanted registry files. (please correct me if I'm wrong)
thugster_9904 Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 @ everyone My computer is connected to a basestation with 26(highest number) users connected and sometimes i experience network congestions. Morisato Posted August 20, 2007 CID Share Posted August 20, 2007 Uh, yeah. But I guess it's their Never-ending Base Station Activity again. I've scanned my pc for trojans, viruses and such. Wala naman lumabas, pero I'm planning narin to loose all my data re-format my pc... Hopefully, it'll solve my probs hehehe Kung ano-ano narin ang nakalikot ko sa Registry, pakiramdam ko nga ang gulo2x na.. Anyway, thanks... nakakahiya talaga Smart, sirang sira na sila Edit: A bit off-topic, but look. I've tried to diagnose my net using 'their' QuickFix V2.0 It says. "We cannot detect your LAN card. Pls make sure it is properly connected and try again" . How come?
thugster_9904 Posted August 20, 2007 CID Share Posted August 20, 2007 Cannot detect your LAN Card? That's weird.. Hmm... Does your problem persist until now?
Morisato Posted August 20, 2007 CID Share Posted August 20, 2007 Um yeah, dunno what happened. But the device manager recognizes my LAN connected and working properly. It's odd...
coolbuster2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 20, 2007 Um yeah, dunno what happened. But the device manager recognizes my LAN connected and working properly. It's odd... Quick Fix 2 has been reported in forums to have issues with regards to functionality. I NEVER installed Quick Fix coz IT IS CRAP.
Morisato Posted August 20, 2007 CID Share Posted August 20, 2007 You bet! Even a noob can do the ping/traceroute etc.. in using the command prompt. All it can do is to monitor the percentage loss of dns, gateway, wireless gateway blablabla for them to say what's causing the problem. Which is, as always, their Legendary Base Station Activity... roflmao
-Procopio- Posted August 20, 2007 CID Share Posted August 20, 2007 I think Quickfix 2 has so many problems/bugs now. Is it the beta version right? I think Quickfix 2.1 will be released on September ( hopefully ).

coolbuster2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 21, 2007 did you specify that what you wanted is the downgrading of your canopy software and not the canopy itself?
fr0stbound Posted August 21, 2007 CID Share Posted August 21, 2007 oops, what i actually asked for is an upgrade.
coolbuster2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 21, 2007 oops, what i actually asked for is an upgrade. lol expect a no reply. it will be impossible to upgrade to 7MB. no where in the philippines. wow. better re-email them and specify your requirement. fr0stbound Posted August 21, 2007 CID Share Posted August 21, 2007 they just called me. they said there is no way that they can give me 7Mb throughput. they said that can only be done by changing the canopy and it won't benefit me anyway. just a bunch of excuses if you ask me. thugster_9904 Posted August 21, 2007 CID Share Posted August 21, 2007 @ frostbound Get used to it.. Hmm.. Me, I don't call anymore the CS when i have a problem( unless it's severe..) coz at the first place, i can switch AP, rotate my canopy and others... For me, they suck big time.. A bunch of incompetent CS's..
