tommie gorman Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 Man thats a big step up from when you started at your Grandmothers. Enjoy! That was what I was thinking. Wasn't it like 768 DSL or something?
Voltageman Posted August 9, 2007 CID Share Posted August 9, 2007 You won't be disappointed We have had it for almost 2 years now, and have yet to either lose service, or have a slow down. I've only had to reset the router once, and I believe that was due to the power going on and off like 5x in 10 seconds(good old LIPA). Is that due to my ISP, or a ****** router? It is a wireless B one which is ancient!

Voltageman Posted August 10, 2007 CID Share Posted August 10, 2007 damnz..... I have to reset my router on a daily basis. Is that due to my ISP, or a S#!tty router? It is a wireless B one which is ancient! Do you have fios? If you do, and you are using your own modem, make sure it is capable of handling the speed. We have the 30/5, and my Linksys router could not handle it. If the router is old, I suspect you don't. If it is cable, bypass the router, and see if you experience any problems.
