xs1 Posted April 3, 2008 Author CID Share Posted April 3, 2008 Very nice.. kinds sucks that it has vista.. lol my grandmother just bought a gateway with vista. I actually liked it. Only thing i didnt care for was my lack of know-how to tweak the internet settings without cablenut.. Says its not compatable with vista? Blunted 2 Posted April 3, 2008 CID Share Posted April 3, 2008 The only thing I have seen people tweak with Vista and cablenut is the send window and thats it but thats a nice PC

RTB Posted April 4, 2008 CID Share Posted April 4, 2008 I don't see how that ends up at 2g...
anox195 Posted April 4, 2008 CID Share Posted April 4, 2008 It probably ends up at 2g because its with Dell©, if he would have invested 2 grand with newegg his system specs would be much much better. Reasons this system shouldn't have cost $2G. -Slow Ram (667mhz is nothing compared to today's DDR3 speeds, 1066-1800) -Slow FSB = 1066 (todays highend mobo's are at 1600's) -Doesn't even show spec's on motherboard (MAIN component) -2g's and he's not even SLI'd? Is this a joke? Despite the things above the PC will be good for any game he puts in it mostly.
justinlay Posted April 4, 2008 CID Share Posted April 4, 2008 At least now .s1 can post some pics that are higher than 1024x768 now
dlewis23 Posted April 4, 2008 CID Share Posted April 4, 2008 its 2 grand because its a XPS. If it was a vostro its about 1/2 for the base machine.

Well researching before posting would be a good start... The motherboard is based on the Nvidia nForce 650i SLI chipset.. The XPS 630 supports single & dual graphics options from both Nvidia
