hulioni Posted October 31, 2005 CID Share Posted October 31, 2005 Yeah I'm thinking about an upgrade to dual core after Christmas if the prices fall again as they are supposed to, and I can get a couple bucks out of this one. Here is a backup computer in the other room. Intel 2.8c @ 3.6 EVGA 6800ultra The rest of the stuff is pretty standard. Good for buds to play on so they don't have to pack theirs up for some racing. hulioni Posted November 1, 2005 CID Share Posted November 1, 2005 I love this dang monitor. Seen a week or two ago that dell had the coupons to get it for under $800, thats a hell of a deal for a monitor like this. Wish I would have gotten it for that cheap. It is great but only if you have the horsepower to run it, so even at that price it's not cheap if you have to upgrade everything else. Most of the reviews I read before buying it are spot on. dn0 Posted November 18, 2005 CID Share Posted November 18, 2005 Yeah those pics are ENORMOUS!!! :haha: And that's saying it lightly, REVOLUTIONIZED. Markie09 - how about opening them in MS paint, and then choose 'image' - 'stretch/skew' and change Horizontal and Vertical to like 25% of original. Then save with a new file name, or whatever you want. That's one easy way of shrinking them. BTW, nice clean set-up.......
