Mr. Hahn Posted November 14, 2004 CID Share Posted November 14, 2004 I currently have a 3/256 package from Charter. The down is fine. I just wish they would keep up with the competition and up the upload. I can't wait until 6/512 becomes the norm. Bliss can come in more ways than just ignorance. FishNET Posted November 18, 2004 CID Share Posted November 18, 2004 Cox has a monthly bandwidth limit of like 30 gigs down and 7 gigs up... and like 2 a day... Thats what I have against them... Internet should always be unlimited if you pay for 'unlimited'. I like to use my whole 3.0 / 768K to its fullest with Verizon, and know that I wont get a letter saying I used 160 gigs of bandwidth and Im abusing the network. b5 Posted January 14, 2005 CID Share Posted January 14, 2005 I current have the home office package from Cox right now at 4mb/512k, I was thinking about getting another cable modem and account and mulitlinking them together using BAP, so I'd have around 10Mbps down, 1.5mbs up if I upgraded both accounts. If I had the money to get a cisco 2600 router, i'd just set up load balancing then.
