By the way, this is not a bullS#!t 'accelerator' crap program, this actually does not even run after the settings are applied.  As with SpeedGuides TCPOptimizer this simple makes a few changes to your registry.

This program is free to download, free to use and free to distribute (since this is not my software please read the license agreement for distribution)

My personal experience

I personally used

\Program\Cablenut\VanBurens cablenut settings\version 2\WinXP_2K_CABLE_DSL\MSS1460\Cable & DSL 5000 768.ccs

This is tested on Cox Communications 5000Kbps Download 768 Kbps Upload package in Phoenix Arizona at 10:20PM --- and I swear these numbers are in no way doctored, I was suprised myself with the difference I gained.

Before Settings

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 4782 Kbps about 4.8 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Download Speed is:: 584 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 85 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 1.75 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=UHV6PDCBW

::::::::::.. Upload Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is: 737 Kbps about 0.7 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Upload Speed is: 90 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line: 13 times faster than 56K you can upload 1MB in 11.38 second(s)
Validation Link :: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=NMPS8QLNG

After Settings

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 5622 Kbps about 5.6 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Download Speed is:: 686 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 100 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 1.49 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=YOXNJSII9

::::::::::.. Upload Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is: 742 Kbps about 0.7 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Upload Speed is: 91 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line: 13 times faster than 56K you can upload 1MB in 11.25 second(s)
Validation Link :: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=25GVROXR3

+840Kbps downstream +5Kbps upstream

Aprox 19% overall speed increase is pretty nice I think.

Enjoy, and please tell your friends about testmy.net Smile -- because this site too, is free to use and relies on it's users as a form of advertisment

I have developed a calculator with Mnosteele and Dannjr from DSLNuts [I am a mod there], that you can use for any speed, the general CCS files are convienent, but this is really a better way for you to get your settings, since you can input a different MTU and up/download speeds.  It will also generate the CCS file directly for you to download which you can then input into Cablenut.
