Hi James. I just ordered my Exede installation this afternoon after a significant amount of research. I live in a rural area of Missouri, and am renting, which makes things considerably more difficult. Cable is not an option, and I had 512K DSl from CenturyLink for EXACTLY 8 days. That was enough for me. Then, I discovered Millenicom, which offered a contract-free Verizon 4G LTE solution. Then, Verizon decided to take over those accounts. I needed a solution for my home, and narrowed it down to Verizon's Home Fusion and Exede. I was overwhelmed by mixed stories online about Exede, so I contacted the closest installer by phone and chatted with him. His office is roughly 7 minutes from my home, and he told me what types of speeds I could expect, given my geographic location and my home's beneficial access to the southern sky across a freshly plowed field. The installation is already scheduled for tomorrow morning, and I will post my results. I'm estimating 8-12Mbps down, which is adequate for my needs.
