php ;I'm using IE & I keep the security pretty tight unless I need to lower it.So it might be something in that that is causing the block.I just ran across the site & got the warning .I thought it would make a good example for this topic. If i needed the pic I could have did the print screen wothout the warning .Then cut or cropped it with one of my image programs.

Below is an example of a picture that wouldn't let me .Right click & save picture as.but print screen was no problem.

resopalrabotnick;that's definatly beyond my knowlege level but sounds good. netmasta;Do you know a site that blocks screenshots.I would just like to give it a try to see the blocked results.

Hi solidsnake;Do you realize how easy it is to do a screenshot? It's very basic & doesn't take much tech knowlege.I think even Windows as early as 95 can do it.You probably know how so I won't post instructions. CA3LE is your best bet & even he said he can't make it copy proof. On suggestion I can make is use as small(least pixels) of picture as can be viewed. This way if they copy & try to enlarge it the quality will be bad.

Are you getting the tech help you need?I f you are then I don't see a problem with any subject save a few like porn for example. I thought I would post these at the same time.Their not to the response above I just didn't want to triple post. Mary Took the Lamb to School Author Unknown Mary had a little lamb, His fleece was white as snow. And everywhere that Mary went, The Lamb was sure to go. He followed her to school each day, 'Twasn't even in the rule. He made the children laugh and play, To have the Lamb at school. And then the rules all changed one day, Illegal it became; To bring the Lamb of God to school, Or even speak his name. Every day got worse and worse, And days turned into years. Instead of hearing children laugh, We heard gunshots and tears. What must we do to stop the crime, That's in our schools today? Let's let the Lamb come back to school, And teach our kids to pray! The New School Prayer Author Unknown Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against the rule. For this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a federal matter now. Our hair can be purple or orange or green, That's no offense, it's the freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise, Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the State. We're allowed to cuss & dress like freaks, And pierce our noses, tongues & cheeks. They've outlawed guns; but first, the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the unwed daddy, our Senior King. It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong. We can get our condoms, & birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires & totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, No Word of God must reach this crowd. It's scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot, my soul please take. Amen

tommie gorman ;I'm just now getting to checking the link .I found it absolutely inspiring. Thanks for posting it.I did skip to Texas first.I'm going to add this: 1892 - Trinity vs. the US: The Supreme Court stated,

tommie gorman ;I have been really busy the last couple of days.So I don't have time to properly wade in on this right now.I think you know which side I'm on.

I was raised a patriot .Like I posted before I am a Multiple generation American.I don't know any other way nor do I want to.

cpd23 ;It looks like it's an Oklahoma ISP sometime local can give better service.A lot are just business that conect through a larger ISP so its really not local. The price is good.Just check the TOS to make sure it really gives you unlimited access. I think this is a problem with Copper Net .It says unlimited in the advertising but not in the TOS.Unless this has changed .It's been a while since I looked at their TOS. My ISP has been OK not exceptional though. They do have American techs or have so far if that's important to you..They do have unlimited access.$9.95 a month but I think the want 3 months at the start. My ISP is nts.online.net out of Lubbock Texas. No matter who you use read their TOS carefully.

I don't know if the one I helped my friend build had been preassembled.I & some of our other friends were just some free labor he rounded up to lift logs & hammer spikes. If it had been preassembled there weren't any nail holes or any sign it had been.I guess it's still standing. It was built around 1980 .He sold it about 1995 .It's out in the country & I haven't went to check . A lot of hammering on the spikes with a 3 pound sledge about 4 per 10ft log.I think my right arm was about twice the size of my left one when it was finished. The logs were made cool a D-log flat on the inside for flat walls. The were rabbited with two males on top & tow females on bottom .A strip of insulation went in the middle. Then caulk along the outside of the male rabbit . After the log walls were up he built the rest himself with a little help occasionally. Still it was worth the experience to do it for free.btw he did feed his Friends pretty good while we were doing this & plenty of cold drinks.

I helped a Friend of mine with some other Friends to put up a log house with precut logs These use spikes that go about 2 1/2 to 3 logs deep.He was reading the blueprints & got the dining room & living room window mixed up.(They were on the same wall.Fortunately I caught it only 2 rows up the window. He had to buy an extra long drill bit & we had to drill the spikes out.Remove the logs & put them in the right place. Another thing he was doing he had one of those 6 foot plastic levels.he was supposed to be checking the walls for plumb with it . I caught him pushing it a little to make it plumb. In spite of this the house turned out looking good.

paladin;Matt Mason would be my second choice. These are the 2 I picked from the start. tommie gorman ;Nashville Star only compares to American Idol in that both have amatures trying for recording contracts.I have only watched 2 episodes of American Idol . It seemed more like they wanted someone to ridicule than put on good talent. peepnklown ;Your just trying to jerk my chain. j3grizz;Just record it & watch it when you have time.I guess anyone on it will be putting out some CD's if their good anyway. A singer that was on the second season I think Lance Miller didn't win but has a CD out.The only problem is it doesn't have the song he wrote for doing on Nashville Star. A good song titled "Beers not Just for Breakfast Anymore"

It's hard to believe I'm the only one that watches this show.I mostly listen to rock but I like some country. If you haven't watched the show & might like a little country music as a diversion it's on USA network Tuesday night.

I did it with dial-up & it was fairly accurate.

This is done by number of posts. Each Topic would only be 1 post unless you reply to it again. I thought someone might tell you .Start a topic if you need to but please don't do it just to get your rank up.The same with posting .If you stay a member of the forum you will increase your rank soon enough with legitamate posts.

amc11890;Sort of but no one is as nasty to the contestants & they start with only 10 & eliminate them over several episodes. So the talen is better. The viewers do the voting. You can vote by phone if within 3 hours of the show or online at the link.I'm not sure how long you have to vote online I think a couple of days.

If you watch Nashville Star I would like to see who you think is best. http://www.usanetwork.com/series/nashvillestar/

Thanks Shug7272 I understand now you would need this type of HD DVD player if you have a HD TV & want the best picture. If you have a regular analog full screen type TV it wouldn't make much difference & it might even be worse.

Hard Disk Folder Gone , But using space
cholla replied to solidsnake's topic in Networking and Hardware
solidsnake; You're welcome & welcome to the forum as well.If you would give us some more details on the recovered folder it would be useful in helping someone with a simular problem. For instance was the folder you lost in the found.000 & did you have to do anything special to get it back where you wanted it? -
I think just about everyone likes DVD.I have a player for my TV but it was only $60.00 new .It's a Samsung & it expands the wide screen to full screen when I need to. I like it. I still use a VCR to record TV shows so I can FF through the commercials. So I like a VCR too. My complaint about the one in the link was at that price I would expect it to record not just play.

Hard Disk Folder Gone , But using space
cholla replied to solidsnake's topic in Networking and Hardware
Hey all: solidsnake followed my suggestions in the post above & then e-mailed me.A folder or file showed named found.000 It has the 40+GB size of his missing folder. Is there a way to recover this folder? I did look for some information & it should have a lot of .chk files in it but solidsnake hasn't e-mailed me back so I don't know. There are two DL's at the link below has anyone tried them or have an opinion on them. They are UnCHK & FileCHK these are .chk file recovery programs. http://www.ericphelps.com/uncheck/ -
Hard Disk Folder Gone , But using space
cholla replied to solidsnake's topic in Networking and Hardware
solidsnake; You might try this: By default, Windows Explorer does not display files with attribute set to Hidden. Use this method to make Explorer show all the hidden files: Click Start, and then click Control Panel Double-click Folder Options On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders Hidden files and folders will appear dimmed to indicate they are not typical items. Usually, hidden files are program or system files that should not be deleted or changed. Still some files remain hidden? Windows XP adds another layer of hidden files, known as "Super-hidden" or Protected Operating System files. Generally, these protected files are not intended to be visible for the user as they're not intended to be modified by the user. To display other hidden files, clear the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) check box. Show Super Hidden File Extensions Even when you have configured Windows to display all file extensions, there are still some which remain hidden. This allows potentially dangerous files to be masked as safe files, fooling the user into executing them. This tweak helps expose those file extensions. It is possible for a malicious user to name a file so that it looks safe to open, when in fact it may be executable containing dangerous content. For example, a file could be displayed as "readme.txt" in explorer, when it fact it is really name "readme.txt.shs" but since the ".shs" portion of the filename is hidden it is impossible to tell it apart from a simple text file. Then once a user double-clicks to open this file, instead of seeing a text page as expected, the file will be executed by Windows as a scrap object and potentially harm the system. To remove the potential to hide files, open your registry and using the search function find each occurance of a value named "NeverShowExt". When this value is present the associated file extension will not be shown. To display the file extension highlight the "NeverShowExt" value and press Delete. Repeat this process for each extension you want to display. Registry Settings System Key: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT] Value Name: NeverShowExt Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value) If you want you might try this from DOS if you know the name of the folder. At the prompt for example :C:>cdwindowsthe name of the file or if it's just in C: C:>cdname of file Then type dir or dir /W/P this should show the directory of the file.If it's still there. If it's in another drive then use that drive letter like D: , E: , etc. -
I will have to look but I think we discussed thermoelectrics in the Temperature topic. It doesn't hurt to discuss it again though.
