9/11: Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming Our Future
cholla replied to kedwon's topic in General Discussion
FiosFiend;I'm old enough to remember the Jones incident. It had been long enough ago I didn't even think about it.But I remember there was evidence that some of the congregation was forced to drink the Kool Aid so not all blindly followed. There were also some members still in the USA that didn't commit suicide. But I understand the insult now.I don't think I fit the blindly following type. As for calling Bush stupid I think if you read what I have posted it will say the Stupid is an act to fool those that will believe it.Because you don't pay as much attention to someone you consider stupid. For hating Bush yes since I believe he had a part in planning the destruction of the Towers & sent troops into Iraq getting American soldiers killed for no reason. That's the only way I can feel about him.Being a Texan & having had him as governor I've had longer to develop the hate. As for whether Saddam should have been in power in Iraq that wasn't for the USA to decide.By that logic why don't we attack every country that has a leader we don't approve?Except that this war is breaking the USA so that we can't take proper care of ourselves like fixing the area destroyed by the hurricane & building levies that will stand the next one.How many other things are we letting slide to finance this war? Now multiply that by going to war with every country that did not have the leader the USA wanted them to.That would be the road to bankruptcy. The point is why decide who will govern Iraq if not all the rest? The Iraqis' should have controlled their destiny themselves or died trying. Then if Saddam used WMD's most of the rest of the world would have been with the USA instead of so many opposed. If Iraq or any country has WMD's against invasion whats our problem so do we.It is only using them for an offensive attack that I have a problem with. To put it simply we should mind our business & let the other countries mind theirs. If we had been doing this since WW2 then I don't think we would have been attacked by The Middle Eastern terrorists. And hopefully wouldn't have had Bush for a President. As for beating Kerry if Bush hadn't fixed the first election he probably wouldn't have been running again. amc11890;I agree God is in control but it is evident that God lets mankind control our own destiny for the most part.He would probably step in before the whole planet was destroyed.I believe God will eventually come & establish His kingdom on Earth. Some say soon I personally leave this up to Him.For those that believe in the Holy Bible then think about The Lord's Prayer "Your kingdom come" I do believe prayer is awnsered but sometimes the answer is no. -

resopalrabotnick ;This is not the first time I posted this either.I do beleive Roosevelt knew about the Japanese attack.I don't beleive he planned it but allowed it to procede without warning .& yes for an excuse to enter the war in Europe.Which I do think was necessary for the USA to enter .But without allowing Pearl Harbor to be attacked without warning. The Japanese thought they were invincable & were going to win the war so they didn't worry about attacking the USA.Lokk at how the Japanese violated the Geneva Convention in their treatment of prisoners.Since they thought they were going to win they didn't worry about it.Unfortunatly America has been guilty of this in the Iraq war not to the same degree but still guilty.I am ashamed of this. For some reason it takes a major disaster to get Americans involved otherwise we just kind of watch & see if things will settle themselves. That's the people .The polititions who see dollar signs.American founding politions were not this way but sadly they are now. I don't use African -American myself because they are not Africans but Americans like every other color here.I would like to have another word other that black but it's the best I have for now. They were in seperate units because unfortunatly there was still prejudice left over from the American Civil War.The Civil Rights movement of the 1960's hadn't happened yet. I like Kool Aid but I have a head like George Lopez so I'm not a PINHEAD.I prefer beer though. To the rest yes ,yes,no -
Those are the ones the are telling us about. jypagan ;This is not trying to get rid of your job & I have posted this point before. The whole nuclear arms race has been such a waste of money & created so very dangerous radioactive material .That is impossible to get rid of.The enviroment has been affected by I don't know how many test bombs. But only 2 have ever been used in war & I find that insane. I 'm aware of the equal deterent theory Or is it equally assured destruction so neither side uses it. In truth this is a way to flow mass amounts of money to munitions makers on both sides with plenty of bribes for polititions along the way .Neither side ever relly intended on using them against the other & still doesn't. Just be glad it's not my decision to make.

resopalrabotnick;I know Bush's excuse in the end was WMD's for going into Iraq but this was for the UN & other countries he was trying to get to go with him.The Towers destruction is what got Congress & the country mad enough to accept this.At that time he was & still is blaming the Iraqis for training the terrorists. So yes I'm saying Bush was behind the Towers being blown up. fred I'm not going to get very far into religion.I have often seen the not judging quoted. It comes from Matthew chapter 7.It really isn't against judging but hypocrisy. In other words before you judge make sure you are not guilty of the sin you are judging. We are called on to judge at times in America if you are called to jury duty.Try telling the judge you are a Christian & aren't allowed to judge. So you want to be excused from jury duty. 1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. I'm going to interpret a couple of words here not to insult anyones intellegence .If you already knew then accept there are some that don't. Mote is a word for straw like hay. Beam in this case is a support beam like in a building or a board or post. So it is saying take the post out of your eye so you can see clearly how to remove the peice of straw from your brothers eye. -
If an enemy took one of those & managed to drop it on Pantex nuclear weapons assembly plant(now mostly disassembly)But the nuclear material from the disassembled nukes is stored there.I bet the radius would be a lot more.I live about 20 mile from this plant so I probably wouldn't even know before I melted. I also wonder about the effect of a direct hit with a nuke on a reactor.

amc11890 ;I think I put this in a post but I will do the short version. The Bush family is tied to Saudi oil.The Saudis wanted Sadam out of power. The Saudis wanted the USA to remove Sadam so they wouldn't have to do it directly & offend their fellow middle easteners. There had to be some reason to get the USA to go to war with Iraq.Bush wanted the American people behind him in this.So Congress would approve the war.So the towers were flown into Americans were killed.Bush had his reason to go to war. The start of this topic showed article about how the towers couldn't have been brought down by the planes alone. It would have taken expertly placed charges of Thermite in several places to do this. With more access to the towers tha terrorists would have had. Probably requiring government involvement. Bush's reason money from Saudi oil for the Bush family business. I beleive Bush's dumb is an act to misguide. In other words he's not as dumb as he looks. -
I never thought about the effect of hot on the wax ring but I could definatly see how it could melt. The one I was talking about just regulates to warm. mudmanc4 ;I think I will pass on the beer enema too.Sounds funny though.Too bad about the guy who was killed with the hard liquor one.I guess there are worse ways to go.I wonder if they charged his wife with anything?
-
CA3LE ;I did clear my cache like the start page suggested.I probably keep mine cleared better than most to make sure it doesn't slow me down.usually about every hour online except for the cookies. If I clear those it messes up the login.I do clear the cookies at least once a day.I even take it a step further & delete the index.dat file from cookies about every 2 weeks.I have to start in DOS to do this.

mudmanc4;If I put in a sink specially in the restroom it's going to have hot & cold water to it. Here's a little plumbing lesson .There are toilets that have warm water supply. This is because the area has high humidity & the tank sweats excessively if it only has cold water. This requires a special mixing valve but this system would have hot & cold already at the toilet. I have never used one but I understand bodets(I hope spelled it correct) are plumbed this way.)If there not it would be a chilling experience. Now there's your new way to drink beer. I think I'll stick with the old fashioned way.
-
I can get it to work I have to click it between 5 to 10 times .It will finally load full screen.I can live with that.
-
I was checking to see if anyone was having this problem but me. When I try to use spell check for a post I just get a quick flash of spell check but that's it.I'm sure there are some words that are misspelled .I even mispelled some on purpose & it still doesn't stay on to do the corrections.
-
Kind of solves something I have posted before. The seat & LID should be put down .Not just the seat. With the toilet lid sink you would almost have to do this.Kids would have to stand on the lid to use...Great use of gray water. The only problem I see is being the next guy real soon & having to take a dump into hot water. That takes light a match to a new level.

GlocknLoad; Thanks for the Happy Birthday.& Thank you for your service to the country. I hope none of my comments are viewed as against the average soldier. It would be hard for an officer below a certain level to resist much without going to prison for not doing what would be called their sworn duty. That's why I put General as the level to resist. I don't think resisting by not going to Iraq,Viet Nam ,or Korea would have went against the oath.None of these wars(whether that's the official term or not) had anything to do with defending the Constitution and the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic .The United States government was wrong for sending troops to these places. It's hard to take this stand without appearing to be against regular soldiers but I want to state again that is not my intention. What do you think Washington & other patriots that fought against the British with him would have done if Britain had tried to gather them up as troops say 10 years before the Revolution & sent them to fight France one of Britains enemies at the time.Do you think they would have willing went & fought & died for Britain their country at the time ? Or would the Revolution happened then? If you are talking about the American people then I agree with you "We have the greatest country, and it's worth dying for." But those that currently govern us have sold us out & continue to do this at every oppertunity & for what ?Money. -
I still probably like NES best .I haven't had a super Nintendo console I went with the SEGA Genesis . I still play the original Final Fantsy on the NES as well as others like Mario & Duck Hunt. I like one called "The Immortal" The Link or Zelda games are fun & the Castlevania series.

paladin;Good to see you posting again.I like Heston & agree with him for the most part.Like I said if me & him sat down to talk I'm sure there would be things we disagreed on also. The same would be true with most people. I agree with you on being a nation of laws.I wish they were equally enforced but we know they aren't.That the right amount of money will get you out of almost anything. Take the CEO of Enron for example basically stole Millions from who knows how many people& is out walking free how about charging him with each as a seperate crime. How many thousand crimes would that be.If a man without much money robbed people 3 different times even with out harming them in California (&some other states) with the three strikes law he would be serving life.So much for equality under the law. So the time may come when the American people have to revolt again to straiten things out.To some this would be braking the law to others it would be upholding the Constitution.I'm sure king George considered the original American revolutionaries criminals. If England had won they all would have been executed.Thats the way it is the winners are revolutionaries & the losers criminals & terrorists. GlocknLoad This goes with some of what I wrote above .The illegal aleins are commiting a crime when they enter the USA illegally. They should be prosecuted as the criminals they are.The one problem with it is they would probably have a better life in a prison here than they have in their own country. When you return them to their country they just try again. They other options seem too harsh. But I guess maybe start executing on the third offense. This would require keeping DNA records but might work. Still if the illegals that come here were willing to fight & die if necessary to make their country better then it would eventually be better. That's what our ancestors did. I think if England ruled the USA today we would be sipping tea & eating crumpets. As long as we had a job & enough to get by on.I don't see the willingness to fight & die to correct the problems .So it just keeps getting worse. The military only fights & dies somewhere else.Their only option is prison if they refuse. If even one general had the balls Washington did he would say no & enforce it that the soldiers under him weren't going to fight in a war that we had no business in. I beleive this is what Washington or any of the other Patriots that fought the British in 1776 -1779 would have done. -

FallowEarth ;I took Heston's description of the "the God-fearing, law-abiding, Caucasian" male etc.As the government & media's view of this group. He was taking a tongue & check poke at the government & the media. It was definitely a call to arms.I'm glad you enjoyed it.One doesn't have to completely agree with another's point of view to appreciate it.I'm sure Heston & I would not agree on everything Dark06 . At least my reason for tying the two together is a belief that the United States government was involved in the 911 destruction of the towers & therefore the lives of Americans killed as a result. That this is just one more reason the American citizens need to be armed & ready to rise up against a government that would do this.A warning to be on watch as more rights are taken. I will end with this quote think about it "The history of firearms is the history of freedom" -
aarond ;If you have a Windows 98 start-up disk reboot & start up with it.the minimum will do for using fdisk.Type fdisk at the prompt & select 4 to look at your drive partitions. This will show if any are FAT32.Mine are FAT 32 because I have ME. I'm not sure what to do if you find FAT32 partitions in your XP but this should show if they are there. My PC is partitioned C:active primary:D:&E: logical DOS drives & F: cdrom

I agree a derringer will do the job.The only derringers I have shot have two shots so a second chance .A .45 derringer requires a firm grip to keep it from jumping out of your hand. The .22 is one of the deadliest to get shot with as long as it doesn't need to penetrate anything but the body & regular clothes. On the amount of rounds a gun can hold its just arbitrary,The staets do it because they can.Actually the states shouldn't have any say & the federal government limited control. The second amendment should be absolute. The right to bear arms any time any place. If you commit a crimanal act with the gun then you get the death penalty. That's what was intended for gun control. If you don't commit a criminal act then an American is supposed to have the right to bear arms anywhere .If you are tresspassing then its a tresspassing violation not an arms violation. Dark_Matter ; I can bare arms anywhere but right now my rights are being taken away because I can't bear arms anywhere. -

philp ;I'm glad you enjoyed it.Heston is no longer the NRA president I guess because of his age but I beleive he has been given the honorary title of lifetime president. As an actor I enjoyed his movies but I thought he really excelled as the NRA president. In reading the speech I found out he was also involved in the Civil Rights movement in the early 1960's something I didn't know. -

Even JFK a later forefatherseemed to realize this.I'm going to put in a speech by someone I consider a patriot. Not all will & it will probably draw some fire.If it draws too much I will have this post deleted or remove the speech by modifying.I can only delete from the dial-up section myself. Speech by National Rifle Association First Vice President Charlton Heston Delivered at the Free Congress Foundation's 20th Anniversary Gala December 7, 1997 I like it when the party of Lincoln honors our free heritage. This nation has been blessed by the minds and mettle of many good people, and indeed Abe was among the best. A man of great moral character... a trait often lacking among our leaders. This is disturbing, but not without remedy. One good election can correct such ills. Above all, I hope those of us gathered here tonight have more in common with Mr. Lincoln than just party affiliation. Better that we grasp a common vision than simply wear the cloak. Even our President pretends to be a conservative when it suits him. We must be more than that. I know, I know... it is not easy. Imagine being point man for the National Rifle Association, preserving the right to keep and bear arms. Well, I ran for office, I was elected, and now I serve... as a moving target for pundits who've called me everything from "ridiculous" and "duped" to a "brain-injured, senile, crazy old man." Well, I guess that goes with the territory. But as I've stood in the cross hairs of those who aim at Second Amendment freedom, I've realized that guns are not the only issue, and I am not the only target. It is much, much bigger than that—which is what I want to talk to you about. I have come to realize that a cultural war is raging across our land... storming our values, assaulting our freedoms, killing our self-confidence in who we are and what we believe, where we come from. How many of you here own a gun? A show of hands? How many own two or more guns? Thank you. I wonder—how many of you in this room own guns but chose not to raise your hand? How many of you considered revealing your conviction about a constitutional right, but then thought better of it? Then you are a victim of the cultural war. You are a casualty of the cultural warfare being waged against traditional American freedom of beliefs and ideas. Now maybe you don't care one way or the other about owning a gun. But I could've asked for a show of hands on Pentecostal Christians, or pro-lifers, or right-to-workers, or Promise Keepers, or school voucher-ers, and the result would be the same. What if the same question were asked at your PTA meeting? Would you raise your hand if Dan Rather were in the back of the room there with a film crew? See? Good. Still, if you didn't, you have been assaulted and robbed of the courage of your convictions. Your pride in who you are, and what you believe, has been ridiculed, ransacked, plundered. It may be a war without bullet or bloodshed, but with just as much liberty lost: You and your country are less free. And you are not inconsequential people! You in this room, whom many would say are among the most powerful people on earth, you are shamed into silence! Because you embrace a view at odds with the cultural warlords. If that is the outcome of cultural war, and you are the victims, I can only ask the gravely obvious question: What'll become of the right itself? Or other rights not deemed acceptable by the thought police? What other truth in your heart will you disavow with your hand? I remember when European Jews feared to admit their faith. The Nazis forced them to wear six-pointed yellow stars sewn on their chests as identity badges. It worked. So—what color star will they pin on our coats? How will the self-styled elite tag us? There may not be a Gestapo officer on every street corner yet, but the influence on our culture is just as pervasive. Now, I am not really here to talk about the Second Amendment or the NRA, but the gun issue clearly brings into focus the war that's going on. Rank-and-file Americans wake up every morning, increasingly bewildered and confused at why their views make them lesser citizens. After enough breakfast-table TV promos hyping tattooed sex-slaves on the next Rikki Lake show, enough gun-glutted movies and tabloid talk shows, enough revisionist history books and prime-time ridicule of religion, enough of the TV anchor who cocks her pretty head, clucks her tongue and sighs about guns causing crime and finally the message gets through: Heaven help the God-fearing, law-abiding, Caucasian, middle class, Protestant, or—even worse—Evangelical Christian, Midwest, or Southern, or—even worse—rural, apparently straight, or—even worse—admittedly heterosexual, gun-owning or—even worse—NRA-card-carrying, average working stiff, or—even worse—male working stiff, because not only don't you count, you're a downright obstacle to social progress. Your tax dollars may be just as delightfully green as you hand them over, but your voice requires a lower decibel level, your opinion is less enlightened, your media access is insignificant, and frankly mister, you need to wake up, wise up and learn a little something about your new America...in fact, why don't you just sit down and shut up? That's why you don't raise your hand. That's how cultural war works. And you are losing. That's what happens when a generation of media, educators, entertainers and politicians, led by a willing president, decide the America they were born into isn't good enough any more. So they contrive to change it through the cultural warfare of class distinction. Ask the Romans if powerful nations have ever fallen as a result of cultural division. There are ruins around the world that were once the smug centers of small-minded, arrogant elitism. It appears that rather than evaporate in the flash of a split atom, we may succumb to a divided culture. Although my years are long, I was not on hand to help pen the Bill of Rights. And popular assumptions aside, the same goes for the Ten Commandments. Yet as an American and as a man who believes in God's almighty power, I treasure both. The Constitution was handed down to guide us by a bunch of those wise old dead white guys who invented this country. Now, some flinch when I say that. Why? It's true...they were white guys. So were most of the guys who died in Lincoln's name opposing slavery in the 1860s. So why should I be ashamed of white guys? Why is "Hispanic pride" or "black pride" a good thing, while "white pride" conjures up shaved heads and white hoods? Why was the Million Man March on Washington celebrated in the media as progress, while the Promise Keepers March on Washington was greeted with suspicion and ridicule? I'll tell you why: Cultural warfare. Now, Chuck Heston can get away with saying I'm proud of those wise old dead white guys because Jesse Jackson and Louie Farrakhan know I fought in their cultural war. I was one of the first white soldiers in the civil rights movement in 1961, long before it was fashionable in Hollywood—believe me—or in Washington for that matter. In 1963 I marched on Washington with Dr. Martin Luther King to uphold the Bill of Rights. I'm very proud of that. As vice-president of the NRA I am doing the same thing. But you don't see many other Hollywood luminaries speaking out on this one, do you? It's not because there aren't any. It's because they can't afford the heat. They dare not speak up for fear of CNN or the IRS or SAG or the ATF or NBC or even W-J-C. It saps the strength of our country when the personal price is simply too high to stand up for what you believe in. Today, speaking with the courage of your conviction can be so costly, the price of principle so high, that legislators won't lead so citizens can't follow, and so there is no army to fight back. That's cultural warfare. For instance: It's plain that our Constitution guarantees law-abiding citizens the right to own a firearm. But if I stand up and say so, why does the media assault me with such a slashing, sinister brand of derision filled with hate? Because Bill Clinton's cultural warriors want a penitent cleansing of firearms, as if millions of lawful gun owners should genuflect in shame and seek absolution by surrendering their guns. That's what is now literally happening in England and Australia, of course. Lines—long lines—of submissive citizens, threatened with imprisonment, are bitterly, reluctantly surrendering family heirlooms, guns that won their freedom, to the blast furnace. If that fact doesn't unsettle you, then you are already anesthetized, a ready victim of the cultural war. You know, I think, that I stand first in line in defense of free speech. But those who speak against the perverted and profane should be given as much due as those who profit by it. You also know I welcome cultural diversity. But those who choose to live on the fringe should not tear apart the seams that secure the fabric of our society. Now I've earned a fine and rewarding living in the motion picture industry, yet increasingly I find myself embarrassed by the dearth of conscience that drives the world's most influential art form. And I'm an example of what a lonely undertaking that can be. Nobody opposed the obscene rapper Ice-T until I stood at Time-Warner's stockholders meeting and was ridiculed by its president for wanting to take the floor to read Ice-T's lyrics. Since I held several hundred shares of stock he had no choice, though the media were barred. I read those lyrics to a stunned audience of average American people—the stockholders—who were shocked at the lyrics that advocating killing cops, sexually abusing women, and raping the nieces of our Vice-President. True, the good guys won that time though: Time-Warner fired Ice-T. But on the other hand, I find my blood pressure rising when Clinton's cultural shock troops participate in homosexual-rights fund-raisers but boycott gun-rights fund-raisers... and then claim it's time to place homosexual men in tents with Boy Scouts, and suggest that sperm donor babies born into lesbian relationships are somehow better served and more loved. Such demands have nothing to do with equality. They're about the currency of cultural war—money and votes—and the Clinton camp will let anyone in the tent if there's a donkey on his hat, or a check in the mail or some yen in the fortune cookie. Mainstream America is depending on you—counting on you—to draw your sword and fight for them. These people have precious little time or resources to battle misguided Cinderella attitudes, the fringe propaganda of the homosexual coalition, the feminists who preach that it's a divine duty for women to hate men, blacks who raise a militant fist with one hand while they seek preference with the other, and all the New-Age apologists for juvenile crime, who see roving gangs as a means of youthful expression, sex as a means of adolescent merchandising, violence as a form of entertainment for impressionable minds, and gun bans as a means to lord-knows-what. We've reached that point in time when our national social policy originates on Oprah. I say it's time to pull the plug. Americans should not have to go to war every morning for their values. They already go to war for their families. They fight to hold down a job, raise responsible kids, make their payments, keep gas in the car, put food on the table and clothes on their backs, and still save a little for their final days in dignity. They prefer the America they built - where you could pray without feeling naive, love without being kinky, sing without profanity, be white without feeling guilty, own a gun without shame, and raise your hand without apology. They are the critical masses who find themselves under siege and are long for you to get some guts, stand on principle and lead them to victory in this cultural war. Now all this sounds a little Mosaic, the punch-line of my sermon is as elementary as the Golden Rule. In a cultural war, triumph belongs to those who arm themselves with pride in who they are and then do the right thing. Not the most expedient thing, not the politically correct thing, not what'll sell, but the right thing. And you know what? Everybody already knows what the right thing is. You, and I, President Clinton, even Ice-T, we all know. It's easy. You say wait a minute, you take a long look in the mirror, then into the eyes of your kids, your grandchildren, and you'll know what's right. Don't run for cover when the cultural cannons roar. Remember who you are and what you believe, and then raise your hand, stand up, and speak out. Don't be shamed or startled into lockstep conformity by seemingly powerful people. The maintenance of a free nation is a long, slow, steady process. And it is in your hands. Yes, we can have rules and still have rebels—that's democracy. But as leaders you must—we must—do as Lincoln would do, confronted with the stench of cultural war: Do what's right. As Mr. Lincoln said, "With firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us finish the work we are in... and then we shall save our country." Defeat the criminals and their apologists, oust the biased and bigoted, endure the undisciplined and unprincipled, but disavow the self-appointed social engineers whose relentless arrogance fuels this vicious war against so much we hold so dear. Do not yield, do not divide, do not call a truce. Be fair, but fight back. It's the same blueprint our founding fathers left to guide us. Our enemies see it as the senile prattle of an archaic society. I still honor it as the United States Constitution, and that timeless document we call the Bill of Rights. Freedom is our fortune and honor is our saving grace. <hr> <edit> justification of text -

When a government has ceased to protect the lives, liberty, and property of the people ... and ... becomes an instrument in the hands of evil rulers for their oppression ... it is a ... sacred obligation to their posterity to abolish such government and create another in its stead. -- Sam Houston I have a right to nothing which another has a right to take away -- Thomas Jefferson Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. -- John F. Kennedy -
