Very possibly could be the card, have you tried a different Ethernet cable? Those cables are often the source of trouble.

Go to the topic below and you'll find Cablenut and VanBuren's custom tweaks there. Can't hurt to try, not sure about the wireless connection, though. http://www.testmy.net/topic-1013 Also, from your Command Prompt, type "tracert testmy.net" and post those results back here. BTW, can another member point me towards the "autocheck.bat" batch file? I am at a loss as to where it is located.

Very possible, I have a wireless B and a G router, and I can only get around 3mbps max out of my 4mbps connection with either one.

Interesting, I see the error on server 1. Have to wait till the admin can take a look.... -
Your IP is assigned locally by your isp, so I doubt it would help. I am quite sure you would still take the same route, just with a different IP address.

Am I the only person who gets no help from cablenut? faster without?
dn0 replied to ampz's topic in Make it Faster...
Well, it helps increase 95% of broadband connection speeds, but for some reason it does not help me. No big deal, obviously, I am happy where I am. BTW, you shouldn't need to un-install Cable Nut, just click "Delete Cable Nut Tweaks". Who knows, it may help in the future, or someone may come up with settings that will help your speeds. -

Same here, I have tried all different settings, but best without tweaks. BTW, I am talking to mom on Skype right now, so speed results are lower: Cox 4000/512: Welcome to the forum daggerNC :::.. Kind of difficult to translate myself, and I only speak English ;) What language do you speak? Maybe try Babelfish translator, or something like that. (Although the translators are only so,so)
-
I've seen this before, for some reason you're unable to run a pathping test. It should show the whole route, and compute the stats for each node for 300 seconds or longer. I am not sure why this is, does anyone else have any idea? Maybe just try a simple tracert to testmy.net ('tracert testmy.net' from command prompt).
-
Have you done any ping tests? Sounds like you may be loosing connectivity on occasion. From your Command Prompt, try typing "pathping google.com". This will take a while, but it will give some packet loss statistics over time. Paste the results back here. There are many tests to try, but we can start there. As for the firewall question, maybe your provider is blocking access.

I bought 512MB of cheap a$$ Rosewill memory from Newegg.com last winter. I have had zero problems, run's great. (knock on wood)

Here's a link to some pretty awesome images of the external tank right after it was separated. They also show the unfortunate piece of missing foam. It appears that the foam missed the Shuttle, fortunately. http://www.nasa.gov/returntoflight/multimedia/external_tank_images.html http://www.nasa.gov/returntoflight/multimedia/post_mmt_briefing_072705.html
