well, if there is data on it that you really need you can either send it to the pros for a lot of money or buy the same drive (exactly the same drive) and take both apart and swap the media. that is what the pros usually do. mind you you will need a clean (ultra clean) environment to do this in and some technical skill. but with some luck you might be able to pull the data off. you can probably google quite a bit about how to proceed to pul this feat off.

contact t-mobile and motorola and pepsi, state your case. maybe they can do something for you. the problem is that pepsi got it for free from t-mobile for the advertising, and t-mobile won't want to unlock it because they want you to use it on their net to make money off it. the question is whether or not motorola will help you out.

if you get a landline connection then you can think about doing voip with it. that way the company might be able to save some money.

now unless you are totally out in the boonies you should be able to find a local isp that you can get in bed with. if not try to get a dedicated line (t1 or bigger, depending on your needs) from the local telco. remember that you have to make sure the package incudes all the speed, volume, ips and other service that you have now.

easy. talk to all the isps that service your area, tell them to quote you for a connection with the speed you need, (need, not want. need), the monthly volume you need, the guaranteed uptime you need, the service response time you need and the number of fixed ips you need. that will tell you if you are getting a decent deal now or not.

no. in fact, there would be no scsi to sata conversion taking place. you would be installing a scsi controller in your system in addition to the sata one already onboard. now, as an additional option, think about getting a nice sata controller that carries some cache of its own (in addition to the cache that the drives provide) and compare prices between that with four or five nice sata drives and the scsi controller and the hds you were looking at. if you run 4 or 5 sata drives as a raid five you should get a nice increase in performaceas well as data security you will not get with the scsi drives.

well, if you select india at the bottom of the page where it asks you what type of account you would like you get a mask that asks for the information in the proper format so you can enter your indian address. entering a ficticious us address would do no good anyhow since that is the address used to validate credit card transactions. if that was done then your credit card company would deny the charge as fraudulent.
