That sux and I have heard the same story many times, but you didn't give up and thats the only way to get rid of those idiots.......the idea being is if you get 6 months free you will keep their service after that, because you still have to give a C.C. to start the account, and many people after the 6months is over just dont want the hassle to drop them......really sad just one more way they found to rip off the consumer........ ^5 2u for stopping them right away. I was on an Army base recently and they had OC3, the government especially the military always gets the latest greatest, because the people that order it are not paying the bill. I was in communications in the Army and Comm. Centers always have the best.......thats where all the Spy's work out of its called G-1, in the Army they were called ASA I think (to many years ago) but we always had real cool stuff. I rode the first quad back then and I had never even heard of one or saw a picture, didn't even know they existed, that was the only cool part of being in the Army plus being a young kid and getting to run the shitz out of any vehicle I ever drove....LOL our tax dollars at work And if they stay on their network its way faster!!! Unfortunately all technology is similar in that they ALL want to use different rules for measurement or interface, I'm sure most of us have been pissed b4 when you go to plug something in and the plug that is being used is either to big or to small. Of course when you ask someone that works for a company why they did that their answer is that its necessary to use proprietary hardware and software to protect the system(bank account).......yeah right, the truth is follow the money trail, its always about the Benjamin's......As a consumer I have no choice and thats the part I don't like......
