I always had to reset the modem everyday on satelite. Some times you just do. It was part of normal startup for me back then. As to the router, I am a bandwidth hog. I do not share, so i have no idea. Best wishes.

I can no longer test accurately here. It gives me over 15M on the test with only 1200 for my top speed so far. Ever since I got EVDO Rev. A it has been this way. So (snip)speedtest.net, or Speakeasy.net. I have no idea why. The first link you povided does not even seem to have a speed test but it does seem to advertise for a member who was banned from here. If this is the case, I sure as hell wouldnt do it again.
