So are you on the 768/128 plan? And how are your speeds not using the router? Just directly plugged into the modem. -

I read it earlier but figured you almost had your answer already. OK, you are on DSL and trying to figure out why you can not reach cable speeds like your neighbor. The way I understand it DSL will not usually reach the advertised speeds. And cable will usually reach beyond the advertised speeds quite often. 2 different animals. Any other questions, or maybe you could word it differently so maybe I would understand it different. -
Nice speed there h2haxor. There is more than one way to skin a cat.

That was according to Chilton's on the El Dorado. Shove that in a Vega. OR better yet, a 2cv. But knowing Roco's luck, everytime he stepped on the gas the little thing would flip over from the torque alone.

No wonderful Pills necessary. Chewing gum sucks, all that does is work until my jaw is tired. Which don't take long. On the tobacco pouches cholla, bite me I will quit the same way I quit drinking 1/5 per day of Canadian Mist whiskey. You heard right. And smoking whacky tobacco at the same time. Actually I had switched to Hash by that time. I just figured I would hold on to one bad habit to make it easier! And I figure it is time to let the second to last BAD habit GO! I got married after that!

Well I suppose since you were nice about it, at least saying it is a Good bird bath. I will have to let that one go.

That is what Roco said, Friday the 13th bad luck things happen. The only day you can contract " Paraskavedekatriaphobia ", and I truly believe Roco had a bad case of it that day. Medically speaking of course! "Friday, June 13, 1913" is a day to be dreaded in all languages! Also Historians propose the origin of the "Black Friday" was the simultaneous arrest of thousands of Knights Templars on Friday, October 13, 1307, to be later tortured into admitting heresy. The Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville, North Carolina estimates that in the United States alone, $800 or $900 million is lost in business each Friday the 13th because people will not fly or do business they would normally do. Psychologists have found that some people are especially likely to have accidents or fall ill on Friday the 13th. A study in 1993 found people driving less often on Friday the 13th but found that incidents of car accidents nevertheless went up significantly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_the_13th http://www.snopes.com/luck/friday13.asp http://urbanlegends.about.com/cs/historical/a/friday_the_13th.htm http://rchaimqoton.blogspot.com/2006/10/friday-thirteenth.html http://www.howstuffworks.com/friday-thirteenth.htm http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/02/0212_040212_friday13.html http://www.opinionjournal.com/taste/?id=110009086 http://www.viamagazine.com/top_stories/articles/lucky_1304.asp http://skepdic.com/paraskevidekatriaphobia.html http://www.infoplease.com/spot/friday13th.html

Wonder how many addicts were created that way, quite a few as I remember. They even got my own mom once, bastards. First the uppers, and after a while the downers to let you sleep. Damned drug pushers. I don't care if it is legal. My mom had no idea, all she knew was "it was prescribed so it must be safe"! It actually put her in a hospital for...not depression but for nerves. Can't remember what it is called. But anyway don't go that route. It is not worth it. I just quit smoking and really all you need to do is to actually decide in your own mind that you have had enough. I smoked for 36 years. I figured once my daughter was old enough she would ask me to quit, that did not even work. One day I just stopped buying them. Clean for 3 weeks now. Not easy, but if you really want to quit for yourself, it will work. You can not quit for any other reason. It has to be cause YOU want to. By the way the cravings have not stopped yet, but I will hold out. If I can do it so can you. By the way my insentive to keep it up is to see my grandad kids someday. I want to live that long. HOW ABOUT YOU ? ?

And the largest factory size car engine would be the Cadillac 500 cu. in. Grandaddy of them all. 400 hp. 550 # torque. Not great on gas. And the predasessor would be the 472 Cadillac 375 hp 525 # torque.

Welcome to the forum Rosko Have you tried restarting the modem? Unplug the modem cable, touch the end for 10 seconds and reconnect.

OK dotdog14 this is exactly what you do. Take several speed tests on Hughes's test site. Since you will do worse on theirs than here, that is in your advantage. Call and gripe about it big time. They only worry if your speeds are below 200 kbps. D/L which you appear to do consistently. They will definitely help you. That is their guarantee. Good luck.

In that case I will just PM you then. * pinches water on the derriere and hides*

Tread mill.Definatley try local paper for this. Never buy new treadmills. Do you realize how many people buy one and never break it in, or even sometimes never even start it up? And they are willing to get rid of it cheap. Also check out an exercycle, you know, a bicycle for exercise on a stand. Also set a T.V. right in front of it. It is much easier not to get bored if I have a program to watch. Pretty soon a 1/2 hour has passed so quickly. Also get the stats board model. Meaning calorie, mileage, time counter, it is handy also. And the cup holder is nice for a water bottle. Padded if you can find it. Sweats also help. A girl should not work out to lose weight, it will build too much muscle. A guy should not have to worry about it. We had several guys over weight in my weight lifting class and they lost plenty. Just work up moderatly till you get where you want to go. And what you are looking for is more of a proper diet. Just remember if you go about it too hard you will burn out. Take a day off a week to enjoy your day. Also wearing sweats during workout will help burn calories without extra work. And shower after wards. And always do your cool down after workout, so as not to cramp up. Meaning do the same exercise at a much slower rate to slow down, not just abruptly stop. That is hard on you. I used to weigh 120 and lift 185 back in high school, our teach was a previous Green Bay Packers player.

The one thing that has been mentioned twice, which you might have done but not commented on is reloading the TCP Optimizer. Have you done that yet? I think the problem here is not too many use the Optimizer. I do, but I have never had any loading problems, or even heard of any. OK from scratch remove cablenut and TCP and do a ccleaner and defrag. Now reboot and reinstall the Optimizer. Reboot and defrag, and reboot and diskclean and see if that helps in that order. Just some thoughts.
