very nice.. actually one of my bought cables i think misfunctioned and i had to replace it.. it connected my modem to router and i think it actually stopped my connection from working whenever i use most of its power (overheated I believe or something, but it made my router stop working ).. lol

so what? my cable is consistent 48 kb/s upload... with 16 kb/s u r gonna upload 3 times slower than almost all other cable internet services.. that is gonna make up for the dedicated line many times i think

peak times? maybe something else uploading from your connected computers, cuz when its a shared line, bandwidth and speed are distributed evenly sometimes..

they're all pretty good, so I would use either an all-in-one program or just plain old newly-programmed MSN 7.5.. waiting for 8.0 now

for an ftp server for that much money that u pay for internet, you should at least have 384kbps upload (48kb/s)

try downloading a real file (from a website - preferably a larger file so we can see accurate results) and then take a picture of the file transfer when its finished so we can see the average download speed.. that will tell you and us if you are really way over your cap or if some company mistake has been made or your modem has been uncapped

try this program - http://www.ccleaner.com and then do a new test.. if u don't pay over 500$/month for internet service or you are not hooked up into microsoft's internet lines, then u can't get these speeds normally.. not even in universities probably.. lol
