Does freezing a laptop battery really work? Right now I have an old one that only holds about 25 minutes and was about to buy a new one but then I saw this. What type of battery were you freezing, and is there a certain type that you should, or shouldnt put in the freezer?
I was researching a new bittorrent client and found this site, I think its really nice to be able to see a lot of the clients currently available broken down into what features they have. Take a look for yourself http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_BitTorrent_software .
What were you doing when it lasted 2 hours? If it was watching a dvd or something else very battery intense then 2 hours isn't too bad. But if it was just simple word processing or internet browsing then you might want to see If you can get a new battery.
Do you really notice faster speeds with bit tornado, or could it just be the torrent your downloading, like it has lots of seeders? Or have you actually compared them by trying the same torrent on different clients and comparing speeds?
2 hour battery life doesn't seem to good for that model when it is supposed to get 4 hours and 24 minutes. I'd call hp or if you bought it at a local retailer, call them and ask about getting a new battery maybe they would replace it for free.
Using bitcomet on public trackers isn't a big deal right now because public trackers usually don't track ratios. When your using a private tracker they sometimes do track the ul/dl ratio and if it isn't high enough then they ban you. So using bitcomet on a private tracker is usually banned because of it reporting the ratio correctly.
Because its not available in my area Im not sure of the technical details. But 15mbs down and 2mbs up is correct, maybe someone who has it could shed some more light on it. Also you can check their website to see if its available in your area http://www22.verizon.com/FiosForHome/channels/Fios/HighSpeedInternetForHome.asp
For 2 months all I had was problems with tmobile, so I had to cancel. But now that I've got verizon I have perfect service. You may pay a little more for verizon but in my area you get much better service.
