Lan refers to local area network, so your home network (every computer, xbox, ect connected to your router. Wlan means wireless local area network, again the same thing except wirelessly connected to your router. Wan refers to your actual internet connection, connected you to your isps lan so you can acess the internet.

Remember though, as with using any of these proxy sites, as soon as bess finds out about them they will add them to their list of blocked sites. So you have to stay up to date with the proxy site you're using because you can be sure bess will be keep up to date with its list.

This works for me at my school, https://proxify.com/ just type in your page and bess should let you do it.

If you have your xbox directly connected to the modem you shouldn't need to forward ports.
