as close to an instant cold boot to ready as humanly possible it seems lol. tried far cry 3 and bf3 ultra settings, cant even get a stutter if i try.  also had a video i edited in sony vegas 11 of a 30 minute hockey game i recorded from the ps3 and it only  took like 20 to 30 minutes to render and save from scratch. which the settings i used i figured it would have taken like 2 hours.

temperature wise...well here's a screenshot of my temps. (btw my gpu fan hasnt gone to 100% unless i make it manually. and the cpu fan i never mess with the speed, i keep it at just under 2000 rpm. as the push pull setup on the 130mm fans on the heatsink work fine LOL.

btw, this screenshot was taken after i had loaded up a game and stuff so the temps went down a bit, but still that is a badass temperature for overall anyway.

as a whole though, this thing is a frickin beast. im 110% happy with how it came out.

starship_troopers got a reaction from mudmanc4 in How many monitors are you using ?
before i switched to my laptop i used a 21 inch acer widescreen monitor and a 17 inch monitor for a dual setup. basically had it set up so that i could easily switch the ps3 on and use the 21 inch monitor for that and still have a single monitor for pc. (this was before i had an hdtv)

I'm upgrading some elements to the templates to coincide with the upgrade to 3.4.1  ... something internal in IPB errored and locked the topicViewTemplate... so the forums are going to run the plain theme until Invision Staff gets in and fixes their end for me.

If your curious what's new in IPB 3.4.1 here's a few things that might interest you...
Editor Improvements Best Answer Feature Miscellaneous Enhancements Anti-Spam Improvements
Should be looking normal again soon.  With a few extra features.

sorry for not being able to read the entire post. i will definitely read through in a bit, but i just saw the o.p. and decided to throw a software program into this thread. DRIVE IMAGE XML. i love this program. i've only used the disc backup and not used the option to backup to another hdd. but im sure it would work.

Chances are since Australia has serious issues with there lines , not to mention the QOS , or the allocation by sector ,DNS hijacking ( worse then the US ISP's for adverts ) and censorship, I'm not in the slightest surprised to hear someone may have issues.

as far as i can recall, most (if not all) HP all in one printers work. and i've also heard of Canon and Epson printers will also work. but ive also heard that Epson printers use quite a large amount of ink.

from an "ubuntu linux hardware compatibility list" here are a few of the results i've found that should work.

I used to have to do this with my XP box.

    Go to control panel*classic view*left click system icon*hardware tab*device manager*sound, video, and game controllers*ATI unified*right click*properties*driver tab*uninstall*reboot

That might just do the trick. Let us know if you would.
