I used to have a complete guide how to get logs from diffrent software firewalls, cant find it now But if you are under attack, open your firewall logfile and see what ip# thats bugging you. Now use link below to find what ISP the attacker has http://www.testmy.net/whois.php find that abuse email adress, eg [email protected] Now copy firewall log and paste it in email and send it. I live in timezone GMT+1, and my tests here is between 01:00 in the night to 15:00 around 3.3 Mbps down and around 1,6 Mbps up. After 15:00 to around 01:00 my score is cut in half. I know i got alot of hops to testmynet, since im overseas, the thing i think is so strange is that my ping remains the same 24/7 to this site. Also i see alot of ppl posting nice download scores from their offices and schools with fiberoptic connections, but i havent seen a nice upload score here. Like luwigie, he had a upload against dslreports above 10 Mbps (even tho i know he got alot more bandwidth), here he posting upload scores if i remember it right around 1 Mbps. keep on doin the best site, even better CA3LE VanBuren

it can be a problem, change your NIC before you contact cox, i suggest realtek, never had a problem with realtek and they are kinda cheap, just bougth a 10/100/1000 PCI realtek 8169 for 40 bucks and it runs really smooth VanBuren

sorry gave you vrong value this is the one you should use 98304 too high Defult Send window will give you problems with flow control, however you can try higher then this, make sure its multiple by 1024 eg your upload cap in KB/s x 1024 = 98304 VanBuren

Agreed, this is just a trick for manufactors like they did with AGP 4x All ppl that ive seen comparing FPS with 4x AGP and 8x AGP tells the same, its an increase around 5%......... The bottlenecks is like you said luwigie in other stuff then port bandwidth. VanBuren
