  2. That looks sweet!! i love the show.. might have to check this one out..
  3. Yeah.. buy a new one.. you dropped a $400 phone in a toilet.. and it still works.. I would not be complaining about quick battery discharge.. The paper on the back is water sensitive.. so if you try and return it they will tell you dropped it in a toilet.. You might have created something on the pcb board that is causing the batter to discharge... since there are particles in water.. the residue might be causing a short or powering something that normally wouldnt be powered all of the time.. like the camera or bluetooth.. All i can say is that you are damn lucky!
  4. they might get past the scanners.. but the infection point has now been patched.. meaning that you can not exploite the same error as before..
  5. wow.. this is really wierd..

  7. yeah i was looking that the z5500s to replace my z2200s that i bought last year.. love both of them to death.. The only advantage over the klipsch is the built in decoder and the fiber toshlink.. Which i can run from my audigy 2 zs notebook..
  8. I would try it first and see what happens.. you might be ok with just a stock router.. if not then go pick up the upgrades..
  9. These have been around for a while.. It was in 2000 that txt expolite was found i believe..
  10. That is under users.. it is on the control panel.. click users or user accounts. Then on the top or the top left it is going to be called Change the way users log on. I think it is the first check box. that should being you to the blue ms page that allows you to click the user icon to log that person on.. Sorry i am doing this from memory.. I am pretty sure that is correct.. the name might be different.. but that is how it would be done.

  19. If you have the option to just use a different hard drive for testing that is what I would do.. that way if MC doesnt work.. unplug the drive.. replug the xp drive.. and away you go..
  20. It might be a pad.. i would recommend artic silver.. better heat exchange.. go to a mom/pops shop and ask them about thermal pastes..
  21. It looks like you are being hit by spam and people looking to hijack your computer.. 1026/1027 are ports used for Windows Messenger Spam or worms. 68 look like it is DHCP client oriented. 443 is SSL HTTP Are you running a webserver on this connection? that might explain the large influx on these ports.. people trying to hack you webserver.. As long as you are blocking them.. it shouldnt be a big deal.. if you feel really brave you can call the ISP and tell them that your firewall is going crazy.. BTW what firewall program are you using?
  22. First of all i am the one with the patch comment. I am still certain that MS will release a patch at some point it should be a fairly easy fix and take care of the problem. I am sure that every news website will carry the story when and if a patch is released. However, my second post in this thread does have some thought behind it. Companies do have legacy systems running still.. For either custom software or because they can not afford to get new equipment. So replacing the software code was expensive and difficult to find people who knew the programming languages for the y2k fix.. and that was 6 years ago. In the end of the day everything will be fixed or a work around will be instated.. ajb62787 did have a point.. this new bill does have some effect on everyone.. will it cause y2k^2 i doubt it
  23. They are using version 1 it looks like.. the requirements are just a DOCSIS modem to connect..
  24. That is a nice little heat sink.. atleast it doesnt look like this.. original post https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=400.0
