  3. I am not a fan of the turbo cache cards either. I have a 6150LE(ick) and it wont run hardly anything. I was going to upgrade it, but the puny little 350 watt power supply doesn't give me much to choose from.
  4. The only thing I would say is you would probably be more satisfied if you got one with a 7200RPM HDD. Other than that those look great.
  5. I second the Core 2 Duo. Also in my experience HP makes pretty good laptops. Of course I am sure every company has their duds.
  6. Cats are evil...You will be sitting there petting them and they purr and purrr...Then BAM! Cat scratches the s*** out of you for no reason. Don't let that innocent looking face fool you people!!!!!!

  8. Lol that is me in the mornings.(Right now!) Lets just say I am not the kind of person you will find skipping and whistling "It's a beautiful morning" through the house lol.
  9. Yah. That was probably just your download manager calculating wrong or something. Dial-up can only go so fast, and there is not a program out there that can change that.
  10. Grandpas got some serious moves LMAO!!! :2funny: :2funny:
  11. It is better now. I guess their gateway was having problems. It has been having its' rough patches here lately.

  13. Yes but Wildblue's lag is mostly because of a new traffic shaping they are using called DAMA. Like we are talking I went to bed with high 500 to low 600ms pings and woke up with 1100 to 3000+ pings. What he was pointing out is Hughesnet actually gets better pings than Wildblue. 14. Yah but it is harder to keep track of this way.
  15. Shortly after they implemented the new FAP.
  16. Unfortunately Wildblue does not have a free download time.
  17. Here is a pretty good and cheap dial-up ISP --->http://neandertech.com/
  18. I can vouch that Propel really does help with dial-up. Download speeds no. Browsing yes. It caches and if you want it to compresses the data.
