  4. The only thing I would say is you would probably be more satisfied if you got one with a 7200RPM HDD. Other than that those look great.

  11. Yah. That was probably just your download manager calculating wrong or something. Dial-up can only go so fast, and there is not a program out there that can change that.

  16. I'm using a co-op.
  17. Yes but Wildblue's lag is mostly because of a new traffic shaping they are using called DAMA. Like we are talking I went to bed with high 500 to low 600ms pings and woke up with 1100 to 3000+ pings. What he was pointing out is Hughesnet actually gets better pings than Wildblue. 18. Mine shows: http://www.testmy.net/b-56
  19. Yah but it is harder to keep track of this way.
  20. Eastern I think...
  21. Shortly after they implemented the new FAP.
  22. Unfortunately Wildblue does not have a free download time.
  23. Here is a pretty good and cheap dial-up ISP --->http://neandertech.com/
  24. I can vouch that Propel really does help with dial-up. Download speeds no. Browsing yes. It caches and if you want it to compresses the data.
