Update:
i found out that a proxy can help speed up smart bro esp when its down
if you get below 250 kbps with default, try to use:
proxy.meridian.ph
see if it works for you.
if you say you're getting a minimum of 30-40 KB/s you are getting 280-320 kbps with destiny.
that's far slow from what we (tweakers) get with smart bro at 400+ Kbps.
that's what i call "line calibration".
will take 3-5 days to complete. from my experience with TCP Opti the best slider point is 1500 kbps. gave me 380-460 kbps
however, i needed more so i shifted to CableNut, it gave me 480-670+ kbps.
i think you have to go to the windows firewall config even if its off. uncheck uTorrent from there and delete it in the list of exceptions.
(off-topic: i gotta ask you guys, i've just posted recently on this thread but its not showing off in "New Discussions" I really don' know why. here's the link http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1880.msg236179;topicseen#msg236179)
But of course the freedom of expression is kept sacred here, just don't go off-topic more often.
I believe admin has a way of incorporating into one topic those which are redundant so we don't jump from one thread to another like spidey.
