  1. The real-world difference between AGP 4x and 8x is negleglible, so don't worry about that.
  2. Yes.
  3. Lack of CPU power, lack of memory, video card is fine.
  4. Virus? You really shouldn't be using Outlook Express.

  6. That must've cost a lot. I've seen them go for $1000 or more. And your PSU is a lil on the weak side, you'll want more when you start OCing your system. Not OCing would be a shame with that card.

  8. Active advertising Blunted? I'm surprised you posted this considering the time you've been here. Just put the links in your sig, and don't do this again... it's troublesome. *click*
  9. This topic has been moved to Show off your scores!. [iurl]http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=10471.0[/iurl] Cablenut works fine
  10. 6600 is the faster card.
  11. 500 watt is necessary for FX-57 and 7800GT(X) SLI, and sometimes that is not even enough, like when OCing. But for a 6600GT and an unknown CPU 300-350 should be perfectly fine.

  13. That's one way to crush the myth about Santa. I removed your other thread, since it was a double post anyway.
  14. Plus it tends to be a resource hog. I'm using BitTornado, which has that a bit too, but there are certainly smaller BT programs that don't have it.
  15. That's what the back button does too. Posting cached results only* compels others to do it too, and the scores do end up in the database. So don't do it. *It irritates me as well.
  16. And that's not being biased? L.O.L. It depends on the card, and while cards from certain manufacturers certainly OC better, it's no guarantee. BFG is preferred because of their lifetime warranty.
  17. No. Just... no. If you're gonna be a pirate figure it out yourself. Testmy.net won't help you on this one. *click*
  18. It's a bit of a waste though, with the help of a NV Silencer 6 I'm running this XFX 6600GT AGP at 570/1200 24/7 stable. You can always do that kind of OC yourself.
  19. Makes sense, ban it until a new version that does support it comes out.

  21. Someone left his caps-lock on... And it certainly attracts trolls.
  22. That sort of tweaking won't get you that far, as an RWIN of 65535 isn't the best setting for your advertised speeds, and MTU can only be lowered, not increased, or you get packet fragmenting. I suggest that you use Cablenut and VanBuren's .css file for a 6000/768 Kbps connection. Comcast doesn't seem to be one of those evil ISPs, it's just that sometimes issues are forgotten, because it's a big company. Another idea would be to do a tracert to testmy.net to see if you somehow have a bad route to here.
  23. That may be, but now that more people are aware of their intents, even those better concealed programs will be found earlier. I doubt Sony learned that rootkit-like programs are not the way to 'protect' copyright.
  24. I doubt Sony learned from this mistake.
  25. Why can't Chello be like Cox?
