I had the same happen to me. My father turned his computer off yesterday for 30 min, and with it his BT, so I could finally do some tests in months. All of a sudden, I was downloading at 987 KB/s, unstable tho. Got scores around 6000 KBps... If he hadn't turned it off, we'd never have known we had been upgraded from 4/1 to 8/1. With 90nm, I wouldn't go over 1.55v 24/7. For benching, up to 1.65 will keep it safe. Air-cooling btw, for water and extremer cooling methods higher volts can be applied.

3g stable would be quite nice, all I could with this Venice was boot at that speed. Benchies wouldn't run. It's now running folding for testmy.net, at 2700 Mhz and 1.525v in BIOS. Here's a 24 hour prime screenie.

Then it's problably your ISP throttling BitTorrent. Those measures are getting more common among ISPs.
