:shock: BUH! wow, that's pretty far away. Have you tried connecting your PC directly to the modem via ethernet and testing your speed?

I still think it's your router slowing you down, and have yet to see a trace with it out of the picture.

How far away from the router? What is your signal strength? Did you shut it down to test?

I wouldn't worry about it. Looks like some good latency between your router and your modem. Try a direct connection and test and trace again.

Not sure, but I think maybe you have the 3/768. Download and install cablenut [LINK]. Then download the file I have attached and open it. It will open the cablenut adjuster window. Click save to registry, then reboot your PC and test again (make sure all firewalls and browser toolbars/extensions are off when you do).

To the best of my memory, the photons were projected against a material that would change (colour I believe) when exposed to light, which through monitoring they were able to map each photon's path from the point of release.

It's definitely cheaper, if you are networking your home, to make your own cables. There's really not much to it....doing your own coaxial cable is pretty straight-forward too. Plus, it never hurts to have a length of cat-5 or cat-6 kickin around. You never know, right?
