Mine does also, but the revalidate isolation says 56.

Do you know what transponder you were on on the 6000? I went through the same thing when I upgraded; I was on the 1250 transponder (same satellite as you) and went to the 1150 after the upgrade. My signal dropped from mid 50's to mid 30's. After tweaking my dish, I know get 45-50 signal, so it's a little more consistent. Remember, satellite strength doesn't determine speed, it just determines how good of signal it can keep in bad weather.

My rate code has also dropped to 1/2

Is anyone else getting TX code 10's? The past couple days I've been getting them every 30 minutes. It did snow last night, but my signal is still 44. Maybe it's just AMC3... BTW, TX Code 10 = The transmitter is unable to communicate with the Network Operations Center

That's a pretty good upload for the 4000 isn't it?

My signal is jumping between 44 and 45 right now. I'm scared to do a cross-pol test right now because I'm afraid that it will fail, and I'll then need to call Direcway to get my system back up. Last time I did a cross-poll I got a 61, which I hear is barely above passing.

You should also reset your modem by power-cycling. The reset tool in the system control center is "soft", power-cycling does a better job in the long run. -

40kbs on a 7000 Pro system on 4000 satellite HELP!
Bird Fan replied to Crispy Niggets's topic in DW7000 Information
That's probably why you can't get as fast speeds. He might also be doing some heavy browsing during those times, also (I know I do). -
Well then forget Direcway... Pinging testmy.net [67.18.179.85] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 67.18.179.85: bytes=32 time=838ms TTL=50 Reply from 67.18.179.85: bytes=32 time=1316ms TTL=50 Reply from 67.18.179.85: bytes=32 time=1227ms TTL=50 Reply from 67.18.179.85: bytes=32 time=920ms TTL=50 Ping statistics for 67.18.179.85: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 838ms, Maximum = 1316ms, Average = 1075ms My pings are pretty inconsistent tonight, some are 700ms, others are 1300.

Do you consider the business package the "fastest package"? I'm sure business users see some slowdown at night, but definately not as much as we're getting (but how many business' use Direcway at night? Isn't it mostly during the day?)

I wonder if most people get 4/5 on the AMC9. Isn't that the one that everyone is re-pointing to? -

Bird Fan replied to riteshnig2003's topic in HughesNet (DIRECWAY)
Yes, but I never said I was a technician. I just want to see some background info, and from what I've heard and talked to, Direcway technical support isn't that impressive... -

Bird Fan replied to riteshnig2003's topic in HughesNet (DIRECWAY)
We don't even know if he's a Direcway technician, we don't have proof. There's not much you can do on a system like this, I hope you know. Basically all he can tell us is what satellites we're on, what rate code we have, if we're grounded or not ( a step by step process that involves the user quite a bit, and something technicians should know a lot about), and what satellite's are having problems. He can't really get us more speeds. -
