I don't think you're supposed to puncture the feedhorn at all. Had you broken the clear plastic window, you would have to order a whole new transmitter set. You might see a lot of problems in the summer, especially if some critters get in the holes.

I'm really surprised the Direcway did that. You must have been having problems worse than everyone else or something, or else everyone would get a credit

Your receive frequency is your transponder. And yes, that's the sat mex 5. That would be why you're getting low the speeds.

I said in my post that you have to pay for it. You need to pay $25 for a lifetime membership at www.copperhead.cc In addition to satspeed, you get more programs available for download (including an FAP moniter), and a membership to their Direcway support forums.

They're kol's, but mine can be found here if you want to try them out. They aren't custom, but I've used a lot of different tweaks. I use SatSpeed which is a program just like cablenut, but it's easier to set and you have to pay for it.
