Man, I can't believe people are really starting to wake up and take action, it's unbelievable! Hundreds of thousands of people joining together for the sole purpose of banding together united like we used to be, real . This truly is becoming something much larger then anyone first thought. I see this thing getting colossal in numbers, so that we can sort out all this mess we have allowed ourselves to get into. It;s time to stop placing blame, stop pointing the finger, because you know what ? we need to point that finger right back at ourselves for being so apathetic , and in denial, and allow ourselves to argue amongst ourselves for the purpose of chaos, so we don't see whats really going on. Since you never password protected the admin account, boot into safe mode, then log in as "administrator " , no password. You should be in. I know you said you r admin account has been disabled, but there is always an administrator account on the machine, there has to be. If this doesn't work, there is another option, although it's not as simple as you might think, none the less, Iv'e used it many times, and it works. Buy I have also lost everything by using it one time, out of a couple dozen. The tool is a bootable cd. Download the attachment, burn it, boot to it. When you get stuck, let me know, I'll try and walk you through. Oh yea, I hope you have another machine to d/l this from, and burn it.

I'm still serious about changing to it, I just made a few changes w/ TWC as far DVR boxes and there VioIP, right now I'm paying the standard rate (which is ten bucks more ) just to stay out of the contract, so I can move ISP's when I want. You know, if that is your ISP, and that's what they offer, and you want, then the price is right. You know ? Myself, I have no idea what it costs separated, I just went down and changed a couple things, we have two DVR boxes, and a digital box, some crappy TV package ( don't know or care cause I don;t watch the tripe to speak of ) a VoIP ( that will be installed the 20th) , and 15/7 bandwidth allowance. And I pay $180.00 / month I know , ridiculous , but like I said, if they have it, and you want it, no matter the price, most ISP's are all across the board anyway from what Iv'e seen. I actually am saving ten bucks, because I cancelled my 5 year old Vonage account where I paid 60 bucks / month, anymore, there system is a joke. I wanted to keep the USB phone, but they wanted around 30 bucks a month because I would have had to keep there service through my cable. They lost money, they could have gotten me to pay them something for the thing, but they are greedy, so they can kiss the warm spot

Well I haven't used the Q, but I have used a dozen others, the ROM that you flashed to probably isn't a Verizon Rom, this is the issue, no biggie, I use many different carrier ROM's myself, I know there's a ROM Kitchen where you can place your own apps in , and make your own custom ROM, there fore putting back in the GPS that was carrier compatible. But it's not something to just play with, it would be something to learn. You could easily brick the phone. So on the other hand there are a couple different apps for this, I don't know what exactly you want out of a GPS program, but you need to try out googlemaps, if your phone is GPS enabled, and your savvy w/ then you can use it, just brows to "googlemaps" on your mobile device, and download it. There's also a small app which I use in conjunction w/ googlemaps, called "quick gps " , you'll have to learn how to do this, not something someone is going to explain in one thread at all.

Welcome to testmy.net jpblitz21, glad you joined. I'm not a smart bro user, but I do read all the posts concerning smartbro and jump in when I can. Keeping this in mind, the speed (427 kbps ) would be the same thing the better part of smartbro users get, now the consistant lower speed would signify when the tower you are aimed at is experiencing heavy useage, so there wouldn't be anything that can be done. What the canopy does in heavy usage ties, is allocate the available bandwidth total, divided by the users. This way , everyone gets online, at least a little a bit. I do have to say though, when I started out using the internet, I never got over say 20-60 kbps. No one did. The reason you cannot access your canopy is because they soon realized that by changing the color code , you were in essence "cheating" the other users out of bandwidth, thats where they got in trouble. So they blocked it from access. Some people still seem to get in, and I have read that when they do, and when smartbro discovers this, they will either be shut off, and or allocated a smaller bandwidth allowability. If you have already done some of the registry tweaks you have found, then this may be all that can be done. But since your familiar, you could always experiment with the figures yourself, there is always room for improvement, but keep in mind, that with all the users accessing the canopy , there generally going to get the same thing you are during peak usage times. Although this isn't always true, I believe the acceptions are simple flaws within the canopy configuration itself.

You can run any windows operating system on a new mac. There are millions of mac users, and there's no shortage of "help ". I'm trying to think but I'm sure once one of my macs crashed, but I know it hasn't been for years, no I remember now, it was the iBook G4, it had a kernel panic, I found out they had a manufacturing issue with the video card , and they way they soldered it on the logic board, but i fixed it. I have four operating systems on it right now lol As far as what you just said, "windows are easier" , I thought in the post before that you said "Ditto, my fingers have never touched a MAC yet. (taboo + virgin )" You guy's trust me it's da bom ! I think it's safe to say that the percentage of items that have been shipped in from China that we have found to be loaded w/ toxins, carcinogens, and who knows ,is much smaller then in reality. For the sake of argument look at it this way, how many people drive drunk compared to how many that are caught, or how many times politicians have lied, compared to the times the fact has been brought to our attention, or better yet, how many of these shipped items has had something seriously wrong w/ it, and the powers that be haven't allowed it to become public for fear of mass panic because it was just that bad. Just think of what any of us may or almost certainly must have ingested from such things. I'm just being reasonable about it.
