coolbuster2007 Posted April 10, 2008 CID Share Posted April 10, 2008 ok. so i got it. the first time you had your speed test wherein you got an awful result was because of the following: 1. base station downtime 2. there was excessive use of bandwidth during the test. there are 78 users sharing 1 AP which is color code 241 - this is where you are connected. the weird but nice to look at test results you are getting now are surges. they are inconsistent and does not show your real speed. but as i said, they are nice to look at. coolbuster2007 Posted April 10, 2008 CID Share Posted April 10, 2008 question sir, I am currently using my onboard lan, does it affect my speed? if it does what specifications of a separate lan card would you recommend? and also I apologize for not posting in English the last time no, it does not. if you like to use a lan card other than the built-in, i recommend two: D-Link PCI Card and SiS Lan Card
