Second type Tweak XP in your search engine(like Google or MSN search) Go to some of those sites just don't do every tweak you find without checking it out by searching about it specifacally. I put this in the other post but thought I would put it here in case anyone wanted to try it. I decided to go to the Kaspersky site .Instead of a trial version I decided on the Kaspersky Anti-Virus Web Scanner Beta version 5.0.50.0 It is an online scan that works kind of like the Trendmicro scan.It was kind of slow but it didn't find any viruses in my PC.So I guess what I am using is keeping the viruses out.I just though Kaspersky might find one AVG didn't since it is supposed to be better.In my case it didn't find any which is great. 69 RAT Glad the i L wasn't the problem like I posted it was probably for ME & older/But it didn't hurt to check.I guess MS worked out the i L bug with XP.Aparently XP uses an i beam type i thats how it always should have been.On a system where they look identical it would hide it pretty well.

69 RAT: I don't think this is a problem you are having with XP but here is something I found while looking about the problem with 98.98SE & ME aparently the capital I in these OS's looks just like the small L. Some hackers were hiding a virus this way I'm going to post examples of how it looks since I have ME I don't know if it will look that way on an XP OS. Ilsass.exe this one has a capital i for the first letter llsass.exe this one has 2 small L's On my PC they look identical.

In last Sundays Best Byuy add they had a 160 GB for $49.99 after rebate.But before you decide thats what you need how large is the one you have? How much of it are you using.you don't need to buy one if you don't need more storage.

There are some fairly cheap hard drives Look for one on the web.Its not always best to go cheapest.Or get one if you already have a large enough Hard drive.

Storage is just your Hard drive.If you need more storage put in a larger Hard drive or a second one.Look at my post before this one if you are still trying to find your amount of RAM

sundevil13 the system properties general tab shows the total system RAM on my ME os. it is also shown on my system information window & in Direct X diagnostic window..it also show in the BIOS screen after a shutdown & start. If you have XP I understand it even identifies it RAM better .If you still can't do it there is a software program called Everst that I know will.It will even give you the serial # off of each stick.

This may shock some of you.When I was only about 5 years old one of my grandmothers had me pull the head off a live chicken .We were going to have this chicken for dinner..I want to say I was not singled out for this because I had seen my other cousins do it before.She had a wire with a T handle that was used for this.I guess things have changed I would not think of having a child do that.Even if I would teach one to safely use a gun but I probably wouldn't have them hunting quite that early.

Its been explained several times but the difference is testmy's tests are not Java based.The BBS.com test is Java based. That's the difference.

CA3LE I 'm going to agree with you on PETA I can give an example from my city.There is a man here that has a refuge here that takes in unwanted exotic animals.The man already had some exotic cats like tigers & lions of his own when he started the shelter. Amarillo Wildlife Refuge is the name of the shelter .PETA came up with some pictures of dirty cages & other animal neglect.When the Local news covered it it looked clean to me.I haven't been out to it but I haven't heard any local people say anything bad about it.I know the vet that takes care of these animals he's the same one I use for my animals.He only has good things to say about the man who owns & runs the refuge. this is a link to the refuge site its really pretty cool.So screw PETA. http://www.amarillowildliferefuge.org/

69 RAT I 'm just editing this instead of double posting the link works for me now.I don't know whether the fix will work or not.I will let someone with more knowlege on using that type of fix help you with it.

I have read some on Denial of Service attacks.My ISP says this is why they block ping.I just wanted to know if the various broadband connections were also vulnerable to a DoS attack.Like Dialup?

I don't have an explaination his Net meter is aparrently showing the faster speed that shouldn't be affected by a cached test .If it would be someone else can post why. If you are getting the fast speed then your ISP will eventually catch it & return your connection to what its supposed to be.Because they are only let you have what you are paying for & maybe a little more.

I don't care for Red Bull .I don't have a problem with caffine.I drink coffee regularly.What I would like to have is a real origional Coca Cola like was in the 6 ounce bottle when I was a kid.The really didn't return to the origional formula.I know what the real thing tastes like.Thats why I switched to DR Pepper.Still a real origional Coca Cola would be better.
