No IMO the download speed will be determined by the Cap from your ISP, of course any O.S. must be set up for optimum speeds. I'm sure ya will hear from ppl that have a different opinion, but again the speed difference if any will be minimal. Yeah I have that phone, although I have never tried to use it for the net, I have used another phone a couple of times just to say I did it. IMO using cellies for this purpose doesn't work very well, but in an emergency it is kinda cool......anyway good luck with the phone it has worked fine 4me except the pic quality isn't that great it is acceptable. Truth is I got it to make calls and for that it works fine, all the bells, whistles and gongs are fun to have but not something I ever use..... Microwave

Are ya sure you don't have a browser problem or scumware....etc...... the reason I say that is my shiz had slowed way down and I cleaned everything but I still had something weird going on and it was me not COX, in your case you may be right but its always good to double and triple check to make sure.......and good luck, I know your pissed but some ppl would love to have 3.4 Mbps....... and my connection was also pausing, surprisingly the way I found it is I saw my avatar wasn't spinning and used another account and it was fine. I don't know if its happened to others but it has 2me a few times where the account gets jacked, some files get corrupted and I make a new account move my stuff over and I'm back in business. I did call for tech assistance a couple of years ago but the guy knew less than me...... all he said is if you can fix it by using another account why do you want to know whats wrong??? The site marked the one thousandth member the end of December , so in less than one month CA3LE'S site has almost doubled. Many months ago CA3LE was talking about site growth and I remember thinking that he was thinking very optimistic about what the future would bring, its really nice to see those projections not only happen but exceed the numbers . helloimtim Yes you can run and extension from any existing outlet to the new room where you wish to put new phone outlet, all you need to do is hook up an R.J.11c and your in business. The only thing you may need to address is, if there is or was a filter or the device that is hooked up for your connection is at the old jack or the M-pop or d-marc. Just use 22 gauge twisted pair wire if your not gonna use cat5 , and it usually doesn't matter but it is better if the jack is wired with correct polarity (tip and ring) its similar to positive and negative.
