Like toad56 said. It works on Internet Speed Test. But not very accurate on the U/L end. I just wish my U/L was 135 kbps. instead of my measly 35 kbps.

Always with the Direcway, us poor fella's do try. And if your island ever gets terribly dammaged who do they call for immediate internet access? Probably satelite. It is also the first in Katrina to supply internet. So it has it's uses. And if you were camping out and wanted internet, it would have to be satelite, unless you found a cable connection they have started installing in the forest that I have not noticed. :haha:

I believe they are referring to excessive rotation speeds. Not just rotation. Actually I use my electric air compressor at 15 psi. No problems.

GIve it time bryanlautt, it did just go through major surgery. It may take a few days to iron it all out. I know when I reformat it is not done as soon as I am back on-line, I find a few things I forgot eventually. And this is much more major. I do not envy CA3LE's job here. CA3LE is top notch! He cares.

Remove end of cable from modem and touch the end with your finger for at least 10 seconds, to remove static electricity. How long have you been on hughes.net? I also wonder if you lost your ground all of a sudden? Might check to be sure it is still properly grounded.

Looks about right when I D/L a 3 meg file. Just about the same. So not bad for a 500/50 satelite connection then. FIgured I would add a pic.

Okay Blunted 2 I got 142 kbps on the first, a little fast but real close. And 139 on the second. Right on the money there. Real close.

Actually 3.0 is pretty nice, if you ever get a chance to try someones out. I tried a friends out one time. It was so smooth and quick. I hated to log off. I almost cried. It was his at his own office. Sweet. Especially if 6.0 is too high. 3.0 is great by it self.

That ain't no lie. And you were right, it worked on the avatar. Never thought of that. Thanks. And I would be like you, when is the 6.0 coming around here. Just a need for speed.

All I can say to that Sparticus013, is I just wish I could get 700kbps D/L during the day. You are pretty lucky actually. Nice speeds, even at that!
