I got a bettter idea, I'll just move 10 gigs for now from my vista partition over to my C drive
-
I suppose I could just leave vista on there and install new programs etc. on my vista partition.
-
No, the partition I have dedicated for vista is 30 gigs

Hi all, I have had vista installed since beta 2, and its nice and all, but my hard drive is starting to get filled and I should be able to get another 30GB of storage back by uninstalling and moving my Vista partition back to my C drive. Does anyone know how to completly get rid of vista? I was looking on google but they said you needed to insert the windows XP CD which I dont have since the computer I bought direct from Toshiba already had XP installed so that means no CD. Maybe someone knows an alternative way? Thanks!

I really like the spell checker in Firefox 2 Beta 2

I got 1 80GB drive, 2 partitions on it and only have about 10GB left on it , i am gonna need to get a bigger one.
-
So far so good, its alot better then beta 2 in many ways.
-
Yup, Microsoft is releasing a pre RC1 build to the public, Why? I dunno...But there is a catch, its only avaliable for the first 100,000 people, and you need a beta 2 key. But beware, its a 2.58 GB ISO, and its only avaliable for 32 bit systems. Here is the link: http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/prerc1/en/download.html Took me about 40 minutes to do a complete install of the new build. I like it alot better then beta 2, its alot more streamlined and I like the new 'artificial' aero for us users whose card wont support the regualar. The only problem I am having is connected to my router wirelessly, but no big deal, good ol' ethernet works.

I was about to ask the same exact thing lol

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I used to have the same problem with my toshiba, they told me to use some compressed air and blow it through the vent and what do ya know, a bunch of dust comes flying out, never had the problem again.
