sure is.. I wished my pc folded like that.. at 60 % cpu it gets about 50 points per day.. i got 4 more days to complete a Gromacs project.. So long..

I saw a post somewhere where it said that if you have a dual processor system, you should run 1 program (F@H client) for the both processors and not one for each. Here is a post in the F@H forum about dual processor systems and their 'folding times': source=Amd Athlon 64 X2 4200

Here is a bug topic on the issue of F@H GUI client and ATI Catalyst drivers.. This was written on August 19, 2005. I guess those are the latest Catalyst drivers.. I don't know how yours work, but even though I don't have Catalyst (just the ATI Display Drivers), my pc freezes.. Should I download and install the Catalyst drivers? What do they do btw?

I tried the GUI but I have the ATI Catalyst and my pc freezes every time, usually 5 seconds after the F@H GUI client is started and I have to restart.. I was forced to switch to the console version.. I hope that it submits my WU's

maybe its peak time or the connection at your area is not that good at the time.. i can't see any other explanation at the moment..

I was wondering how many people participated in the university of Stanford's F@H project in testmy.net's team (#44352).. I do Btw, how hot does your processor get when processing the data from the project? Mine got up to 46

It says to turn it off while testing if problems occur.. That never happened to me except for cached tests, but I don't use Norton anyways.. lol

AVI2DVD is a pretty decent program (never used it myself though, but its free) which converts AVI files to dvd images, which could be burnt later.. Here is a tutorial for converting and burning an AVI file to a DVD.. This tutorial has the links to download the programs and explains the whole process..
