I like this section. We don't have to be as worried that we'll do/say something wrong, and that the new people won't get turned off by having this out in the open. I figured that it was partly the purpose to post stuff in here that was questionable, and the mods could move it when appropriate... Was I wrong?

after you have done everything dlewis says, call them up and tell them you need more bandwidth. THey have to provide you with (depending on the provider) at least 75% of what they advertise tell them you want every bit no pun intended *snickers*

The biggest thing would be if your service provider has a system set up to remember your IP address by MAC address. If it does, then you aren't likely to lose your IP from a router restart. For a long term solution, you can have your service provider give you a static IP but it can be expensive (anywhere from 5 bucks or up to a business plan). It depends on how your provider does thir billing. Can't hurt to ask. Are you running a home server? Is that why you want to know?

What program are you using ? You can't do this in windows.. well, maybe you can, but I can't imagine how. What are you trying to edit it with?

What about if a parent knows their children can get on the site, and are underaged they could request... no nevermind, that would mean you would need proof and you can't necessarily get it... besides, I guess Aggr3 could just beat their asses *JOKING* OK, boundaries: 1. I think that ROM has a valid point... for a change *JOKING* If we can abide by no pictures of nudity... or graphic porn stories (IE: How someone performs fellatio in graphic detail) ... perhaps that will do. I would be ok with 16 and over even, but not for everyone that's smart enough to post here. My kids are brilliant about computers, and I don't want one of them seeing porn videos, etc. Their dad and I are pretty good at watching what they do, but they have other opportunities to get online.
