  3. That may be how you feel, but it doesn't make it any less illegal, and the repercussions will get back to you. If you choose to break the law, don't go whining about how you got caught.
  4. Yes, because you aren't paying the artist who is entitled to royalties, which they don't get when you illegally distribute music. That's their job, and you are taking away their paychecks.
  5. The main categories of the DMCA: Abuse of any digital medium which is copywrited, and does not give specific permission to: stream (as in music) to play (as in video) to manipulate (as in program code) and distribution of any of the above (movies, music, software) without authorization. I don't understand why people get so upset when they find a way to break the law that the government can take away their rights to publish it. I mean, if you had spent days, months, years creating something and then some person that has half a brain comes along and takes away all your ability to profit, you would probably get ticked off too.
  6. Not unless your paying licensing fees. Listening to the radio is completely different than creating or being a radio station. It's illegal to publicly distribute copyrighted music Not unless you pay the artist to allow you to stream the piece of music You cannot do this with music either, not legally, not unless you pay Soundexchange (the RIAA), BMI, ASCAP and an agency called SESAC. The inherant problem in all these debates is that you are providing music, which if it is sold in stores to be distributed is now being played publicly without the artist being compensated. RADIO STATIONS pay fees to play the music they play to the songwriters and performers, that's why they buy the licensing they buy. People who stream this freely WITHOUT paying licensing fees are illegally distributing copywrited music. It doesn't matter if you are hosting it or playing it on your myspace accounts. You are breaking the law, quit trying to find a way around it.
  7. You can try Miranda, I prefer yahoo.
  8. I own www.secondshifters.com , I frequent www.nightamrecult.com , www.occultforums.com , and www.darklilkorner.com , but then I am a freak... so yeah hehehehe
  9. I would like to see Bettis and Cowher win myself, because it's so personal to both of them. As for teams, I don't like the Steelers much, so I would go for the Seahawks, except the reasons above....
  10. We just got back from 4 days away, the cats are going nuts having us back. *grins* It's so good to be loved! :haha:
  11. That's what happens when Isis gets cat-nip. Never, ever, EVER pet a cat rolling in cat-nip!
  12. Osisris was on his last day at the humane society before we were given him by my GF who does side work as a vet for them. We told her we wanted a little kitten, we ended up with Thoth and osiris (who was 3 months then). Best thing that ever happened, he certainly livens it up around here!
  13. Hehehe... stop feeding the cat ham.... hehehe... Ever seen THIS? ...stop feeding the cat ham ... HAHAHAHAHA I've been googling all day, can't figure it out...
  14. It's your basic pre-packaged processed ham. I cook it in pineapple slices, the juice, brown sugar and cloves. I can't see any ingrediants that are the same from brand to brand. But it only affects the one cat this way, not the others ...
  15. We currently have 3 cats who own us. (Everyone who owns cats... must realize at some point that we are truly the pets in the relationship) They, of course, love certain people foods. Isis loves Ice Cream, she'll sit and wait for it even after it's gone. All 3 love American Cheese. Thoth will eat everything the bigger cats do. Now, we have recently discovered that Isis adores turkey. She likes it more then the other two do, but they will eat it as well. Osiris and Thoth love ham. The thing that concerns me, is that Osiris will turn into the demon spawn cat when he eats it. Nothing else affects him this way, not even cat-nip. Does anyone here have any idea why a cat would get so freaky after eating ham? Some sort of endorphin in it?
  16. They have to work in groups Otherwise they're lost... "go slow in the driveway" :haha:
