Yea I've got partition manager. If I make a new partition from one of the drives and install linux on it, will I be able to choose linux or xp at startup or will xp no longer boot?

Am I gonna have to format the whole drive that xp is on?

Anything special I should do before I install linux? I've got 2 sataII drives, one for storage, the other for more storage and the os. If I just take some space off of the sataII drives and make a new partition to install linux on, should everything work once installed? So I will have a choice between xp and linux at startup.

I think you can use it only on one computer but install it more than once. Home edition can be installed on more than one.

Idk but it could be an iso. Try and mount or burn it.

Installing programs is as easy as apt. If thats too hard get a gui like synaptics.

I think xp has the option for user accounts to make their files hidden from other users, that might be what is happening to you, you can see them but not access them and thats what microsoft calls hidden, maybe.

If they don't know how to do a printscreen, why don't you make it "save resistant" so they can't save it easily, but make it animated so it flashes up for like 2 seconds and then goes away.
