  1. welcome to testmy.net @ velarde_matthy & kerstinne25 you can try these guides which can help you. http://www.testmy.net/t-18616 http://www.testmy.net/t-21175
  2. @beware187 how much do you pay for that speed?
  3. we are glad that you decided to read the posts first before moving on. familiarizing technical terms will help you in the tweaking process. im sorry but i cannot give you my email address. ive been suffering from spam lately.
  4. tweaking your connection is like driving a vehicle in the middle of traffic, you just have to have a handful of PATIENCE. have you checked tweaked your canopy already? you are maybe in the wrong color code. go here http://www.testmy.net/t-18616
  5. http://www.johntp.com/2006/04/19/how-to-increase-download-speeds-of-utorrent/ it will help you.
  6. hey beware187 you don't have to leave tmn. you still can enjoy your stay here by posting your PLDT MyDSL scores and helping MyDSL subscribers with connection or speed problems, right? http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=20716.0
  7. the reason for this is that, there is a unique setting for smartbro canopy webpages re: account details and colors codes. dot, anyhow you can surf the internet right? so your main problem is to speed up your connection in the canopy config phase. i suggest you find in the AP Eval page the right color code: highest RSSI, lowest Jitter and lowest Power. then put the color code of your choice in the configuration page, save and click reboot. everything else will come smoothly.
  8. as i noted in the bottom of the thread, the 20 steps have worked for some but may not work for everybody. but anyways, you can try my css settings. here it is:
  9. congratulations man. i wish i have a pldt line in my area so i can avail of that offer also. great speed you got there!
  10. there's a lot of factors why even a pldt mydsl user experiences a slow down. viruses, trojans, spywares, junk files, wrong tweak settings and even his line wire could be a cuprit. hope he found a solution coz as far as i know, pldt mydsl is far better than smartbro.
  11. we have laid down some options. unfortunately we understand that you are not familiar with technical terms. we wish we could be there to physically help you. nevertheless, we suggest that you ask somebody, or a friend maybe, who has knowledge on computers to guide you on setting up a proxy as stated here --> http://www.testmy.net/t-20731.30 good luck.
  12. may i direct you here? http://www.testmy.net/t-20731.30
  13. talking about their service, they should improve it for EFFICIENCY.
  14. i think most of the anti-virus softwares work, but im still an avast guy
  15. here's what they say (to clarify things): "avast! 4 Home Edition works for 60 days after the installation in demo mode. You will obtain your FREE license key by E-mail after the registration. The license key is valid for 1 year. After one year you will need to just re-register."
  16. one word: CREATIVITY :2funny:
  17. i recommended to nolram16 to just connect directly his canopy's RJ45 to the lan card instead of passing it through his router because i have noticed that he is a basic user. teaching him advanced router configuration may complicate things a little more. but eventually if he finds it appropriate, and it is his right, to augment his knowledge on setting up a router, then go ahead; a lot of forum members here will be more than glad to help.
  18. have you read this thread? http://www.testmy.net/t-18616
  19. welcome to tmn nolram16 ive read your posts in that site. i understand you are using a router. since your pc is the only one connected on it, why not connect directly from the canopy's rj45? detach the canopy's rj45 from the router and connect it directly to your lan card. since you are now at tmn, kindly have your speed tests at tmn too.
  20. my pleasure
  21. that is correct. obviously there are less users at nighttime. schools and offices are off
  22. you might have used the wrong values. now, if you're contented with your connection even without cablenut tweaks then keep it up.
  23. To support low-latency traffic such as VoIP (Voice over IP) or video, the Canopy system implements a high-priority channel. This channel does not affect the inherent latencies in the Canopy system but allows high-priority traffic to be immediately served. The highpriority pipe separates low-latency traffic from traffic that is latency tolerant, such as standard web traffic and file downloads.
  24. unless you've messed the configuration there will not be any problem.
  25. welcome to tmn. have you tried the 20 steps? btw, please refrain from posting our local language. the rules say its not allowed.
