    CPU Usage

    I run at 100% as well. If I don't have both copies of folding running, under 5% or so under normal usage.

  3. I have 23GB used in properties. Selecting all I have 22.3GB used. I'm suspecting the System Volume Information folder is taking up space unknown since it's contents are super-hidden. lol@ nav 2006
  4. Yea, I despise ME... lol. It's caused me many many problems and I've never even used it on any of my computers.
  5. Welcome to the forum I haven't tried it, but from what I've heard and know, it doesn't work well, nor is there any way to make it work well.
  6. You're 100% sure you have hidden files showing? I don't think you do.
  7. Linux comes with a boot manager, probably LILO or GRUB. If you have a choice during installation I would pick GRUB.
  8. Yea, you're missing the fact that it takes about 5-10 minutes to upload a 1MB work unit, and my connection is virtually unusuable during that time.
  9. Close Firefox, reinstall Windows Media Player. I have to do the same thing sometime but I haven't bothered yet.
  10. Nah, I'd call it marketing. They can sell you a 185GB drive and call it a 200GB drive. Legally. Meaning you might need another drive sooner. Which means more business.

    Heh... many ways. It could short circuit and end up frying various parts, send a current surge or pulses through the computer, just to name a few...

  15. I would suspect you have an onboard video card. This reserves some of your system memory for the video card.
  16. Linux is a good alternative to Windows, especially for server, firewall environments, etc. Really the only thing you can't do on Linux is play the popular games. Not that I use the Linux GUI anyway... Oh, and you can't forget the price difference. Actually, I wouldn't use for Windows for a server or firewall at all. I'm not just using Linux as an alternative. I dare say Windows is the alternative in that case.
  17. That website doesn't block right clicks for me. I think I have Firefox disabling the 'disable right click' script though.

  19. As far as I know, the Printscreen key can't be captured with Javascript. I think I tried it before, unsuccessfully. And even if it could be blocked with Javascript, disabling Javascript would take care of that nicely. But since this person(s) don't know how to take a screenshot....

  21. A BELIEVER!!! lol. But seriously, yea. I have about 50 tabs open right now. Can you imagine having 50 IE windows open? Yikes... A couple good extensions are Adblock, Tabbrowser Preferences, Forecastfox, DownThemAll!, Tab Mix Plus, and Fasterfox.

    Read Only?

    I /think/ you can password protect it with Word so they need a password to edit it, however I have no idea how to do this. edit: Tools/Options/Security. Password to modify.
  23. I think I used Maxthon before Firefox... I still prefer Firefox.
  24. I've done a lot of messing with boot screens, but I did it all myself (no 3rd party programs, except for ResHacker) ghostmaster nailed MD5 on the head.
