  1. plug your modem directly into your computer and go into the control panel of it, on one of the pages in it, (most likey a page called stats or statistics) it will say a rate that you are connected at. have you called your ISP about this?
  2. what kind of modem do you have because it will tell you what speed your are actually connected at. and if its connected at your advertised then its something with your computer or router.

  5. its just to protect from someone sitting at your computer. It wont stop anyone from getting your passwords that is actually trying.
  6. just click the option that says "Show rest of markers" in the lower right hand corner of the map.
  7. rerun the network configuration wizard.

  18. i have 9000 folders to create (1-9000) and i was wondering if anyone knew of a program that will will create all the folders for me so i dont have to make them all by hand thanks

  24. when the other computer is downloading something then its going to slow down everything. if your getting 2.5 then your fine.
