  15. Ok, so you're pretty close now (4.8 Mbps) You might be able to boost that up a bit using cablenut. Get the program HERE. Once cablenut is installed, open the file I have attached, click save to registry, reboot your PC and try another download speed test.

  20. Hello and welcome, cash290. Looks like you've been, but be sure to read everything in the sticky [LINK]. Make sure that firewalls and browser extensions are disabled when testing. Are you using USB or ethernet? Download Cablenut here: [LINK] Once cablenut is installed, download the file I have attached. Open the file, click save to registry in the cablenut adjuster window, reboot your PC and test again.
  21. I think Sharky2006 has a point. Learning that results you get are cached is quite deflating on its own, but when someone says it in a manner that is derogatory, it can be upsetting. If a member is posting cached results, chances are it is because they don't know it's cached. If you feel the need to bring it to their attention, I would suggest also providing something constructive, like a mirror they can try, or to clear their cache, etc. etc.
  22. Make sure you're firewalls and browser extensions are disabled when running a download speed test. Your line test looks good. Try this .ccs file with a larger MTU (download, open, "save to registry", reboot, retest).
  23. Router or modem. How we check is by eliminating the router--if the issues resloves, problem is the router...if the issue persists, it is most likely the modem. Faulty enet cables can cause this too, so its a good idea to try a couple different ones.
  24. Thank you...you can definitely see the latency through Level 3 there.
