  1. Sounds like you attended propaganda classes. The right to bear arms, IMO, is more like the foundation of a feudal society. I find it sad that so many people think that the only way to truly defend yourself is to stick the barrel of a gun in somebody's face. I find comfort in the (maybe somewhat lofty) thought that the human race is better than resorting to such primal, instinctive measures to get a point across. The power is in the numbers, always. Not the number of guns, but the number of voices, especially with the world as globally conscious as it is today. And I believe the subject that Resopalrabotnick was referring to is common morality.
  2. First, I would check out our Make It Faster STICKY. Reply back with as much info as possible, and then be sure to check out Cablenut HERE.
  3. Check out securityresponse.symantec.com if you know the virus name. They have a lot that you can read up on about technicalities, removal, etc. Otherwise, if none of your security picks anything up, you can always try others. If nothing works, and your system seems to be suffering, usually you can get away with isolating and replacing files (ie. dirty install of OS/software). As a last resort, back up your stuff, format and reinstall.
  4. You may have already covered these bases, but I have to ask: -got a firewall? -got any toolbars/extensions running in your browser? (what browser you got?) -scanned for spyware lately? -scanned for viruses lately?

  8. Welcome to the forum, Deastbrook I see a small RWIN, which may be limiting your speeds. But as cdf216 suggests, it would be most helpful if you were able to provide us with your advertised speeds so that we could best help you tweak.
