Entertain me, have you run scp/large-file to or from local servers, is the throughput what you would expect? I know you know your shit, I’m just trying to get what your explaining I’m my head

I get the throttling issue, ISP's are doing some interesting 'things' since so many are domiciling. Maybe I'm just not getting the other part, if I am understanding, Frontier is infiltrating your internal network. If so, and don't get upset here, why would you not have a hardware layer segregating internal/external networks? I say this since I've seen it first hand years ago, where modems are or were on their own /24, ISP side, by network mistake, I found it. Since that point I have been segregating layers via appliances to the best of my knowledge .

You've not experienced the grief until you're required to use a 2007 MBP that really should not be using el crappiton

@JJinPA, I remember that guide, used it, and thank you for your contributions. Be interesting to see what your original account name is .

@rebrecs It's tin foil ? How did you end up resolving your dilemma?

Ah, makes a difference while paying attention < used this emote because I always enjoyed it for whatever reason

@nanobot , thanks for pointing that out, I thought it was 2mm/ppd average, for red Strange, when did that get changed to 10

The world needs to borrow a foe CPU/GPU processes right now, can we find one in the crowd to turn the testmy.net team #44352 red? It only takes 2MM PPD (Points Per Day) to turn out stats red in the name of learning more about a virus that is devastating the humanoids. Even 50PPD helps, your math might have the key! Grab the software here: https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/

@phpI've been getting WU's steady now by using the 'client-type = beta' flag

-
@Mobycore , I know we have a nfw flag within the auto test : I don't blatantly see this feature on the manual test either.

Finally grabbed a couple WU's for the coronavirus: 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:************************************ CBang ************************************* 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Date: Oct 26 2019 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Time: 01:38:35 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Revision: c46a1a011a24143739ac7218c5a435f66777f62f 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Branch: master 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Compiler: Visual C++ 2008 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Options: /TP /nologo /EHa /wd4297 /wd4103 /Ox /MT 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Platform: win32 10 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Bits: 64 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Mode: Release 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:************************************ System ************************************ 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 970 @ 3.20GHz 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: CPU ID: GenuineIntel Family 6 Model 44 Stepping 2 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: CPUs: 12 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Memory: 23.99GiB 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Free Memory: 20.18GiB 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Threads: WINDOWS_THREADS 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: OS Version: 6.2 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Has Battery: false 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: On Battery: false 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: UTC Offset: -4 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: PID: 1424 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: CWD: C:\Users\rickl\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\work 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:******************************** Build - libFAH ******************************** 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Version: 0.0.18 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Author: Joseph Coffland <[email protected]> 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Copyright: 2019 foldingathome.org 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Homepage: https://foldingathome.org/ 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Date: Oct 26 2019 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Time: 01:52:44 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Revision: c1e3513b1bc0c16013668f2173ee969e5995b38e 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Branch: master 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Compiler: Visual C++ 2008 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Options: /TP /nologo /EHa /wd4297 /wd4103 /Ox /MT 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Platform: win32 10 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Bits: 64 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: Mode: Release 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:************************************ Build ************************************* 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7: SIMD: sse2 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:******************************************************************************** 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Project: 14342 (Run 0, Clone 56, Gen 58) 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Unit: 0x0000003a25bb0c305e702d2fc695d7ed 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Reading tar file core.xml 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Reading tar file frame58.tpr 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Digital signatures verified 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Reducing thread count from 11 to 10 to avoid domain decomposition by a prime number > 3 21:31:07:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Calling: mdrun -s frame58.tpr -o frame58.trr -cpt 15 -nt 10 21:31:08:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Steps: first=14500000 total=250000 21:31:11:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Completed 1 out of 250000 steps (0%) 21:33:17:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Completed 2500 out of 250000 steps (1%) 21:34:02:61:127.0.0.1:New Web connection 21:34:13:WU02:FS01:0x22:Completed 40000 out of 4000000 steps (1%) 21:35:23:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Completed 5000 out of 250000 steps (2%) 21:37:30:WU00:FS00:0xa7:Completed 7500 out of 250000 steps (3%)

Packet size effects throughput as well, due to the number of packets required. As well as payload size. Is n truly equatable outside of a proofing environment?

@rebrecs, Have you entertained the idea of using a 1:1 NAT for the website(s) using port forwarding for various web servers ?

He's on or was on a class E network, either ISP doing something or someone toying.

Try this: Navigate in your preferred browser to : http://192.168.1.1 Once there try and login with : username = admin password = admin Look around, see what there is to be seen, possibly find: Menu >> system tools >> statistics If not there, data would be elsewhere, get to know your device. Take a screenshot if you like and post it here.
