I would have to agree, of course , I am a bit biased . BTW , is the new server online? because my connection here is much better, and my speed here proves it !..................and , the time was 12 hours off lol

Yes we are lucky . It's just we have been accustomed to getting what we want , when we want it, therefore we demand , as a culture , in so many unspoken terms, that we get these prices. We do however, feel these prices are way to high for the service we get. Imagine that.

No,well kinda, this is just what the screen saver looks like. You can also change it to " stick and ball ". Everything you see, in the " configure " menu, which can be accessed by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar, are the tweaks for the graphical component.

Your CPU quality will limit your performance. Don't d/l and use more than one core, some people do, but unless you have a dual core, and or a high performance gpu , then one will get a better score. And two will sometimes give strange conflicts w/ each other. I use the " no nonsense " version, just because it runs in the background, and I don't use the screensaver. But I have a couple machines running the graphical, no problems at all, I haven't touched a couple of them for over a year, and there doin fine.

You know, Iv'e had enough old grandad 100 proof to tell you all, I think this shit is reciculous ! Think about all the trucks, and gas , diesel, and all the natural resources they must use , to bring you the , " information " that you feel is needed. Traveling the earth, spewing there gasses, as they use precious natural resources. Think about what they are saying, " save the earth" , bullshit ! all ther breath is doing , is creating more carbon in the air! They are using more carbon , and fossile fuel to do this thing, than they will ever stop. What a crock ! Enjoy.

I had this issue once ( the hand thingy ), I did the same thing, I had no problems. I switched the left and right buttons on the mouse as well, it just flowed a bit easier that way.

Extremely Inconsistent Speeds using router

Hmm, just seems curious that two separate routers give the same outcome. I gotta get up in 4 hrs. I'll check back here in the AM, I'm sure there will be someone here soon to get on with your issue . And most likely help you solve the issue. Sorry I could not be of more assistance tonight. I suggest you set up the auto test, and see if there are any time issues, or usage issues. -
Extremely Inconsistent Speeds using router

ok , I re-read this thread, you are using two different routers, and they both are as inconsistent as each other? Are you sure you don't have a " crossover " cable connected from the router to the modem? I'm not sure if this would work, of what problems this would cause. -

This site uses compressed data ( beyond me ) to insure accuracy, you will not find a more consistant and accurate test site on the net. Look in the "misc tools " section in the drop down menu at the top of the page, look down where it says " automatic test " . Set this up , and it will run test after test, this site will recored your test scores only, for you to track , therfore you will see the accuracy over a period of time. You can also use this information to verify to your ISP, the bandwidth that you are , or arenot recieving. -
Extremely Inconsistent Speeds using router

Wow, that was cool lol I tell ya, If it were me, I would either type in 192.168.1.1 , or 192.168.15.1 , whichever gets you into your web based router interface, and find the reset to factory defaults. You can always print out your security settings for re-entry. You also could backup your settings on to your HDD in case you cannot figure it all out when you do this. Have you had the router for a while, or is it a new one? Check your cables for fault, change them if you have another set layin around expecially the one going to your modem ! -
Silly question , are they muted by any chance ? Are there settings in each player that controls multichannel output?

Are you sure you have your security settings correct within your wireless side? Do you live in an area that there could possibly be others connecting through the wireless side? What router do you have? btw, make sure you put your reply after the [/qout]
