may i just ask guys? can you see cablenut minimized menu along the windows start bar? because i once do but i have made it hidden. will that disable cablenut? (i cannot tell the difference whether or not it is enabled or disabled since it hardly made any difference at all) anyway, if so, how could i get it back where it is supposed to be?

by the way, i do admire those speeds you posted above...you really have been highly blessed...while me, stucked on this speed...haaaay...anyway...good day to everyone!  [nerd]

@ coolbuster(again)

Just an update!! I observed a much stable speeds in downloading in an AP which has a higher jitter value.. Check out the image..It's so weird man...

:smitten:

For the benefit of those who do not know:

1) Jitter is an unwanted variation of one or more signal characteristics, such as the interval between successive pulses, the amplitude of successive cycles, or the frequency or phase of successive cycles.

Your jitter is still in a reasonable level, but better if its lower. (Mine ranges from 3-1.)

2) RSSI is an initialism for Received Signal Strength Indication. RSSI is a measurement of the received radio signal strength (energy integral, not the quality).

Really weird since your RSSI is below 500 yet you have that speed. (My RSSI is 970+.)

I doubt if that is stable, unless you observe it for several weeks.

Really weird considering that your power level is at -77 dBm, which is high compared to mine which ranges from 62-59. Per my friend who owns a net cafe, the greater the value of your canopy's power level is, the farther you are to the base station & the lesser the strength is; and a lower value means otherwise.

Glad that you have that speed but there's always room for improvement.

there's a lot of users by these times of the day so its normal that your speed slows down. remember that smart bro is wireless and its speed therefore is intermittent. however, there is a little trick to make the speed closer to stable.

few days from now, im going to post in my friendster blog all of my tweaks and tips based on available facts and personal experience. just hang on.

@coolbuster

Good to hear some great news from you coolbuster. We'll be looking up to that! And as for my connectivity issue, i get much stable speed with that AP with -77 dbm RSSI and a maximum of 11 jitter!!It's so weird!!! I'll try switching basestation sometime but ill just monitor this one for i guess a week...

For now, ill just rest, rest, rest... I got a fever and cough!!

But I'll still post here!! haha!! I'm trying to be a mainstay here and help other people too!!

Good day Everyone!!  :smitten:

you are testing with a small file size

try a bigger file size

http://www.testmy.net/dl-2992

this is the 2Mb file size
