sOuRnEsS Posted August 29, 2007 CID Share Posted August 29, 2007 Hello again! I tried increasing these RWin values: GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize = 77328 TcpWindowSize = 77328 This is what I got, so far the highest speed I acquired. Still fluctuating though. I want more! got this from cablenut's website forum. How large can I set this values? Can I just type numbers without using the calculator, which requires the Download, Upload and Latency? scriva Posted August 30, 2007 CID Share Posted August 30, 2007 Did you save a system restore point? Using system restore is a must when you're tweaking because you don't know what will happen to your connection after tweaking. If you didn't do system restore, you might want to try pressing the "Delete CableNut Tweaks" button.
gourame Posted August 30, 2007 CID Share Posted August 30, 2007 glad to be able to check some progress. this topics have grown up well as far as the guys have their time on it. Coolbuster and the rest are always here. - make sure though you got your stuff backed up before making changes and have a clean registry for the tweaks. most tweaks fail when its not bein applied right. remove dead registry keys is one thing to keep in mind. coolbuster2007 Posted August 30, 2007 CID Share Posted August 30, 2007 @ mikegatchie don't panic, everything has its own time and reason. kindly post what your values for the following are: 1) Connection Type = 2) Download = 3) Upload = 4) Latency = 5) RWin = also, the time you speed tested before the tweak and test time after the tweak varied (see the date and time of your scores). the answer might be there. COOLBUSTER2 ur da best!!!!! ok. better be satisfied with your current speed now. i reiterate that smartbro's advertised speed is just 384, now if your getting 400+ you should be thankful. remember also that it's wi-fi it means there are things called "fluctuating" and "inconsistent". kudos on your new faster speed! ecxzac2 Posted September 4, 2007 CID Share Posted September 4, 2007 Hours ago, the contractors came into my house and installed that antenna or something on my roof. I took a good look before they installed it and listed all the numbers esp the ESN where I could find the mac address for me to access my canopy page. TNX a lot guys, now I can access my canopy without the trouble of going onto my roof because you guys handed out information bago p man ako magplagay ng wifi. *huggles*

Yeah, its kind of my habit way back. It started when i was still on college. I used to do research and reviews on different online and offline games. Just the same thing I did with smart bro. ^^ Anyways, ummmm cool... DO you have any advice on how I can maintain the stability of my bandwidth. Any application or tweak I can use?
