CA3LE Posted July 4, 2011 CID Share Posted July 4, 2011 I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July. There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America. ~William J. Clinton

tommie gorman Posted July 5, 2011 CID Share Posted July 5, 2011 I tried to get them to put 235 candles on the cake, they were scared water was too far from where we were eating. Happy birthday America. And many more still. :'>
xs1 Posted July 5, 2011 CID Share Posted July 5, 2011 Rain before fireworks is a good thing Ya usually.. unfortunately we got to the main part to see the fireworks over the ocean a bit too late because she was asleep... She woke up about 8pm but by that time there was 0 parking available.. had to go to the beach a couple miles down the road to see the fireworks from a distance, which turned out to be a completely disappointing show to boot... meh. Oh well at least she got to see her first fireworks
mudmanc4 Posted July 5, 2011 CID Share Posted July 5, 2011 Don't feel too bad , the first couple of years are more for the parents anyhow. I think it's more meaningful that you take the time to celebrate and show your family the history and a good time then anything else. tdawnaz Posted July 5, 2011 CID Share Posted July 5, 2011 I worked all day. (So did my parents.) Thanks, EBrown i worked all day too...but the celebration doesn't start til evening anyway so unless someone works at night, work shouldn't be a problem celebrate America
