  1. Daiquirii;PSP would be the corel software you are using by backing up the trial date?So it is really a pay for software.I haven't tried the trial or actually looked at it yet.But I am going to take a look. What I have does most of what I need it to now but sometimes I could use one that does more. dlewis23 ;I have tried the picasa & it will do simular things to what I have.I like the other 2 I use a little better & you only need so many.
  2. mrproper ;I think you will find quite a bit about RWIN setting & some other tweaks in the links below. There are more links in some of them you might want to check.Routers are not my forte but it does seem it may be limiting your speed. If what you are supposed to be getting is 20Mbdown &1 Mb up unless I misunderstood. If you can try a time when more members are on. http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=11218.msg111408#msg111408 http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=8555.msg83659#msg83659 http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=5117.msg47780#msg47780 http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=11149.msg110277#msg110277 http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=5117.msg47780#msg47780 http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-9452.0 http://smallvoid.com/tweak/winnt/network.html#AFD_WINDOW
  3. Although my granddad passed in 1990 at age 92.He had reasonably good health right up till the end.He was out spading up the soil for his garden 2 weeks before. He still drove on a limited basis his eyesight was the best but my grandmother was a good copilot for him. I have an interesting story: I drove him to Walmart to do some shopping .When he was checking out he wrote a check & the checker asked him for his drivers liscense. She loked at it funny & said the date of birth is wrong it's not even 1998 yet & this drivers liscense says you were born in 98.the Texas liscense doesn't put the first 2 digits on the year .I had fun explaining that it was correct & he was born in 1898.Grandad could have explained himself but he was a little hard of hearing. I sometimes think of the changes he saw between 1898 & 1990.He was actually brought to the Texas Panhandle in a covered wagon at age 3. amc11890; Glad to hear your granddad is doing well.Enjoy him while you can.Time passes faster than you think.
  4. I don't know what creates this illusion.Did the site where you got it explain . I bet you could do this better but here they are so you can see the color is the same.
  5. disturbed ;I forgot to say I did like the work you did on the ElDorado.I always liked the 1959 Cadillac all models. You probably did that with photoshop. The one I posted is an artists painting of the car.
  6. Roco; I just happened to run across it on ebay.I had never heard of one so I thought I would see if anyone else had.On looking up some of the specs I think the company also made a car line called Bantum which I had heard of. It suprised me because if what I read is correct Singer made cars from 1905 till some time in the 70's.With it's wood frame & it also looks like a Morgan .
  7. I haven't had photoshop but I think everyone would agree it's at least close to the best image programs.I just posted the freeware ones I use because I assumed that asubaseball727 already knew photoshop was a good program. What did the photoshop software all of you use cost you?
  8. I guess no one reconized the car.It is a 1954 Singer Roadster 4AD .
  9. This ones a Sedan de Ville But it can be used as wallpaper also.I had it in my photo collection this looked like a good topic to post it.I had it for wallpaper on my desktop for a while & posted it in desktop screenshots but it had my programs showing on that.
  10. I'm going to second Voltageman on the importance of vacuuming the system. The filters are a good idea too.I have vacuumed a severely contaminated automobile system for several hours before just to make sure. My dad was an appliance repairman & his main specialty was refrigerator & refrigerator repair. I wish I could braze & solder as good as he could. He used silver solder for some repairs & brazing for others.
  11. I know some about English cars but I had never ran acrss this one.Thats what makes it a challenge.I kind of thought Roco would be able to get it.I will even give you a time slot post WW2 & pre 1960
  12. I haven't taken anything off a memory stick but I'm sure these would. All Freeware: Ifranview version3.98 http://www.irfanview.com/ Image Analyzer (The full version costs a little but the free version only has a couple of plugins disabled they put a red X across the pic if you use them. But this allows you to see how they work & if you need them) http://meesoft.logicnet.dk/ I also have MS gif animator but it is for 9x OS so it would not work for XP I don't think. I'm sure Photo shop will do more from what I've read about it but it also costs .

  14. tdawnaz; That ones on Dream cars this is on any car item.pic .article ,etc. you want to post. I vote we leave it in General Discussion & see how big it gets. Roco newer than a 1937 MG like tommie posted. The Morgan is even closer in that both have wooden frames .At least that's my understanding on the Morgan & this car too.I will look for a shot of the frame if I can find one. This brand vehicle even has a car club. This is a later model but the company made its first car in 1906.It is English. The pic was from one for sale on ebay it was in Canada.I won't keep you all or y'all (in Texan) guessing too long. Below is a shot of the cars wooden frame
  15. It's a short range weapon usually used by male on female. Can be used to give a "pearl necklace" like in the ZZ Top song. & that's about as X rated as I'm going to get.
  16. tommie;actually newer & not an MG but you are more on the right track. It's not a replica I actually got the pic off of ebay they were selling this car.But it's quite rare & I bet even Roco has a hard time identifying it. amc11890;Much smaller than an old Bently
  17. Well Roco so Coca-Cola sent a leg breaker after you to give you a warning.I'm posting an unusual car pic Lets see if you can identify it.Or anyone else if you think you can.
  18. EWO I tried twice to PM you the finished e-mail post in case you wanted to post it again sometime.Neither PM worked in a way you could use it to post.I'm posting a .txt file here you should be able to DL it if you want a copy.
  19. resopalrabotnick; That's borderline being edited. But you are correct on one ofe the definitions. dork (n)a whale penis The blue whale has the biggest dork on earth But you forgot "purple-headed yogurt slinger"
  20. Thanks to php for working on this e-mail EWO wanted posted.I did some adjusting because some of the large letters didn't fit my screen & ran together. If my adjustment messed anyone else's view up let me know.I couldn't have done this without help from php & I'm still very much a amateur .
  21. x_6985381 ;I don't think you can uninstall DirectX.At leatst with Windows. There was some software that would do it at one time.I think you just update it with the newest version if your OS meets the system requirements for the updated version. If you remove it a lot of things won't work. You might even have to reformat. So just update it.If you are really serious about removing it then I will see if I can locate a DL of the removal software. But I sure wouldn't recomend doing it.
  22. I seldom delete an entire topic.I usually just delete the offending post. The problem mods have with doing it this way is :The member whose post was deleted coms back to the topic with :"Why did the blankity blank mods delete my post & testmy blank blank blank blank." So a lot of the time a complete topic gets deleted for this reason.Because otherwise the flaming doesn't stop.
  23. Voltageman ;I wanted to know more about the underlined part.Should this filter be replaced if it is there or just removed?
  24. I forgot ping .On the test I took the ping would be to my ISP's server since they block ping to me.They say this is to protect me from DOS(Denial of Service) attacks...I had one ISP that didn't block ping but they were very slow for some reason.I'm not completly satisfied with the one I'm using now.But they will do while I'm looking for another one.I have been checking a few out but I'm taking my time. One plus of the one I use now is their e-mail has never been down. The tech staff doesn't respond very well to e-mail.They prefer a call but you can't send printed info on a call.Giving them proof of tests; etc. I think this is why they prefer a call. But for those that can ping it would be a nice addition too.
  25. justinlay & anyone else I know Voltageman warned of this but I'm going to put it where it can't be missed. TURN OFF ALL ELECTRICITY TO THE UNIT BEFORE YOU WASH IT
