I'm still going to reply to Mastertech in the topic I moved.I did some of the tests & my computer did good.Still I haven't got as much as I want to done. Roco ;I get a problem simular to yours sometimes.I get a your case has been tampered with warning from the IBM Bios before Windows opens .When I know it hasn't .So it's a lock problem of some kind I think.
-
I just found the site web surfing.I though the test was interesting.Thsite does want to promote their software .I don't know why it worked on mine unless it's because I have dial-up.I have AVG,AdAware,Spyware Blaster & Outpost firewall. you would think the firewall would have stopped it.
-
I ocassionally get a BSOD or bluescreen error .Usually not the same one.So I thought I would do a poll on how often this happens to everyone.

Can the test they have open your CD drawer? It did mine. http://www.auditmypc.com/free-spyware-removal.asp

Thanks tdawnaz for clearing it up that no one has access to member PM's. Maybe new members should have access to the PM but their's could be veiwed if necessary. That way they could get help but if they were problems they could be dealt with better.Or maybe some kind of content filter on new member PM's .I bet there is something like this that could be done.
-
I will say again to anyone that got the PM from EDWARD NORTON Testmy.net apoligizes.Because he did this with PM we had little control till it was reported.Even then we banned him from the site so he can't easily do it again. But if determined he can.We will try to stop it again if this happens. The problem with the PM's here is that they are personal & private.Like your own e-mail.Mods at my level don't have access to any PM but their own.So their is no way we could reveiw any PM's sent by Edward Norton.I don't think even the vice-admin mods can reveiw anyone elses PM. Only the main man CA3LE might be able to do it .This is so members can actually send ersonal messages I hope it can stay this way. Although some have gotten some PM's we had to deal with before this is the first of this type that I know of. We try hard to keep this a family level site in most places. In off topic we allow a little more but no nudity & definately not porn. You can select to filter the language & this will edit most inapproiate words.
-
fonzbear2000;I don't have access to this type information .Porbably only CA3LE has access to members PM's & even he posted one time this was limited.I did PM CA3LE & you can be sure he will check this out.You can PM any mod about this type of PM you get or someone flaming you in a post.We will take care of it if we can or send it to the top if we can't. Sorry this happened to you tmn tries to have a freindly & family level forum.

Hi to everyone:I moved the anti the tweaks in this sticky & the response to them to General Discussion.I thought they were cluttering up the sticky. If you want to post to them or read them they are here: http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=15247.msg160790;boardseen#new

It sounds like a reproductive problem.I don't know that inbreeding would cause but its possible. She might just be a dog that shouldn't be bred for her own heath. The AKC papers should give you some insight as to what her heredity is to see if there was inbreeding .But some breeders fake these so there not a definate info source. Since the Golden is such a popular breed there are "puppy mills" that over breed & inbreed. If you dog is from a reputable breeder then you should be able to contact him to see if there have been problems with litter mates of your dog.But like a lot of people you probably got your dog from a pet store or newspaper add & tracking the breeder might be difficult. If she was my dog I would have the vet examine her to see if he could find any reproductive problems if I was going to breed her again.Otherwise have her spayed .
-
wyantm06;Hate to hear she didn't make it .It can always be something internal like a defect .So there might not have been anything a vet could have done either.Still a small litter for a Golden she could have continued to deliver more pups for two days.Dogs can sort of take a break like that. Was this her first litter? You probably got some good information for rasing the rest. The reason I put the links on worms is as much for the rest as the one that died,This is important & a lot of people don't realize that most pups have worms. You can really give them a head start by having them wormed at 2 or 3 weeks what ever your vet recommends & probably at 5 or 6 weeks again to make sure. Not that a mixed breed is worth less morally if they are pure breds the better they look the better they sell. Good luck with the rest & let us know how they are.

I looked up some more information. You may need to take the one pups temperature to see if it is staying warm enough. Puppies are unable to generate heat by him/herself and need an outside source. That source is usually Mom. If Mom leaves for 30 minutes or more, the puppy

wyantm06.I have had some dogs that had litters. There are emergency vets but these are expensive.Walmart or Petsmart might have puppy formula that is what you should be giving if the mother doesn't have enough milk. Also there are breast pumps I didn't check your age but either your mother or girlfriendor wife will know what these are Walmart might have these also.If the Dog's breasts are plump & full she probably has enough milk if the pups are strong enough to nurse. Also try the pups on some plain water. If they are dehydrated this will help. If at all possible put them inside where it;s air conditioned but with the mother. She will keep them marm if they need to be warmer but this will allow them to cool if that's what they need. Now that I got you some information .Here is more how is the mother dogs condition? She should be licking & stimulating the pups to nurse. If this is her first litter she may not know & will have to learn.Losing some of the liter is normal & it's a small litter for a Golden Retreiver. My Irish Setter who passed many years ago had 13 her first litter 11 survived. When I was a kid our mixed breed dog had several litters something I would prevent now.But that was my parents responsibility not mine. I hope these are purebreds.

That's why pologamy is illegal in the USA to prevent too much male sufferage.

igarek77 ;You didn't say what OS you have.Since Windows 9x OS's have a lot of shut down problems there are a lot of fixes on the web including some MS patches. I have my computers BIOS set so I get a screen after the Windows shutdown that says "Your computer is safe to turn off now" but that's BIOS specific & your computers BIOS may not have a setting for this. This did correct the freeze I would sometimes get when shutting down when Windows turned my computer all the way off.

I tried the Gray-Lady Red & it looks nice too. Purple Darkness is too purple for me but for a purple lover like tdawnaz it's probably close to perfect. For a little negative feedback the copper doesn't look good to me.If you want to use a metal color like copper it should have a metalic look the same would apply to gold or silver.

resopalrabotnick ;Since this one is drivel .Do you know of a good port or firewall test? CA3LE ;Maybe a good firewall test would be something to have at testmy.
-
I switch between default & blacken mostly. The blue black box looks good too.
-
I did the All service ports & the common ports test.Complete stealth that's how it tested a while back.I use Outpost firewall.I'm not worried about leaving the IP address on my screen shot since with dial-up it changes every time. But those with the permanant IP should make sure to remove it before posting a screenshot.

USB PORT could not be opened!!!!!!! help pls.......
cholla replied to karthic's topic in Networking and Hardware
karthic ;I don't know what kind of computer you have.Mine is an IBM & heres how the BIOS works. When the computer Logo comes on during boot.IBM in my case on that screen it says press F1 for setup..This is my BIOS.There are two types of password to enter my BIOS user & administrator these have nothing to do with Windows passwords. The User password gives limited access I have to use the administrator password to make setting changes. Once there. There is a list the one the USB is in is: "Devices and I/O Ports" I select this & there it says : "USB Support" the settings are Enabled or Disabled. So if something disabled USB Support in your BIOS you need to enable it.Unless your PC doesn't have any settings like this. In searching I did see some other people are having problems getting Windows to detect phones connected through USB.
