If they stop you tell them what you are doing .Only a hard ass cop would give you a ticket.Go a little slower on the way back because not much point in going if the victims get scared to death on the ride to the nursing home. So good luck & have a safe trip.

Looking for Romulan Ale or Klingon Blood Wine.

Hyperspace:Depending on how quick you need it usually things come up on ebay again unless its something really rare.If you can wait the price might be better next time. The way ebay works sellers can set any price they want to on shipping as long as they let you know if you ask or post it with the sale. Some make a profit this way & some ship at cost.I think this one is making profit on the shipping. -
rayray909 Those are good shots of Mickey but none of them are giving the finger. That's what helloimtim was asking for.Someone good with graphic might make him one.

helloimtim : Not much luck on the picture I think Disney probably stops these.I did find this but I couldn't find a picture of the mural. 1980: Police arrest a contractor in Hammond, Louisiana after he paints a 30-foot-high image on a supermarket wall of Mickey Mouse flipping the bird with the caption, "Hey Iran!"

I have overall had good experiences on ebay & most items I bought have been shipped & received with no problems.Heres the big but if a seller doesn't ship the item ebay will let the seller make any excuse & all you get is a refund. You can put a negative response in the sellers feedback file too..If you use ebay arbitration it starts at $25 usually more than the item.Ebay will take no action against the seller if you get the refund. On the ale or wine since I don't like wine & like ale & beer I would choose the ale. -
I think people that live in hurricane areas become desensitized & this one was worse than usual by a lot.I live in a tornado area & I don't head for a basement as soon a the warning alarms sound. That probably explains why some stayed. Some just didn't want to leave their homes no matter what. Some may have been working poor just not enough money to leave but not on welfare.I know Shug is a type A personality who would have been working 2 or 3 jobs to make sure he had enough money. But everyone doesn't fit into this mold.& its a little late to look for that second job when the hurricane is already there.Even the ones on welfare needed to have been evacuated sooner by military or some means. Then if they needed to work & pay for their ride out that could have been done latter.
-
tdawnaz : Shug & me aren't fighting over this Or anything else that I know of.I'm not mad & i don't think Shug is either. Most point of views have been expressed by now so we are debating a little no harm done. Shug I would say you are in the minority 80 hours a week.Thats probably what it takes to have your wife not work I better add work outside the home to that. Then at least I won't be in the doghouse for saying"wife wouldn't have to work" I don't know if two or three jobs per person were available in New Orleans or not.Might have been for a person willing to do anything. Some things are excuses & some are reasons.Sometimes there the same thing & sometimes not. There is something to be said for not being too judgemental until you have walked a mile in another mans' shoes.Of course that doesn't always hold true because I don't want to walk that mile if the man is a murderer or rapist .So its not always possible. So much for the philosophy Peace brother

A good many of the "poor" have a job.Everyone can't get a good job. When I go to a store I'm glad there are clerks to check me out & they don't say sorry we can't sell you anything we don't have any clerks.Multiply that to all the stores then when you couldn't buy anything what good would a job that paid well do. People with low paying jobs work ;a lot of times harder than people with better paying jobs.I am glad they have the jobs they do it would be pretty hard to live in a country if the only job was stock broker.Unfortunatly these people barely get by & a trip out of townfor any reason is beyond their means. If where you are leaving to means you are going to live on the street because you don't have money for a motel at least not for more than a couple of days its hard to leave too. On what we didn't hear about all the things that happenend in the tsinami like the Katrina unless we are there or know someone that was we only hear what the media tells us.The below sea level in the USA is crazy probably necessary for industrial business related to shipping in a port that size but no residental areas allowed below sea level.Anyway Shug I'm taking the other side & playing the devil's advocate .

The only thing with only the ping command is it only pings with 32 bytes. The ping method in the link lets you ping with your MTU - 28 in general 1472 bytes for broadband.
-
I won't be coming There's still plenty of the USA I haven't seen.Plenty of beautiful women here too. I actually prefer brunettes anyway. That should leave some room for someone else.

just- Read the topic below RTT is equal to the total latency of all the nodes so is your max latency.Try a site close to you when you do the ping.Maybe your ISP. & Some information suggests you do a large DL at the same time. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-7808.0 Anotherway might be to take the highest time to each node in a tracert & add them together.I think that would also give you max latency.Again doing a large DL at the same time.

tdawnaz : I am not in the blood business so I won't claim to have expertise in the supply & demand of the Blood collection & distribution industry.I think my post said that Katrina created a nationwide shortage. To me that means more donations are needed from the rest of the country. At the time I posted I was hearing that prescription medicine like heart medicine wasn't available to people there .This made me doubt that blood or blood products were available either especially with no electricty for refrigeration to store them.Or hospitals in operation .This has probably changed by now.& there are probably blood products that don't need refridgeration I really don't know. To me "shortage nationwide" is equal to saying there is a need for increased donation across the country I did point out that the majority of the increasd donation would not be going to the Katrina victims. But to make up for the shortage caused by the stores being destroyed in the Katrina area & donations not coming from the Katrina area.So I think my facts were pretty strait at the time of my post especially for someone not in the blood collection business. If anyone thought that meant not to donate then they misread what I posted.I would like to end with this so there is no misunderstanding. THERE IS A BLOOD SHORTAGE SO DONATE

resopalrabotnick : I did post & suggest the schools I didn't go into as much detail but think it is a good idea for the same reasons. The school buses are a good idea.Might have to have some fuel trucks along the route with the ability to refuel the school busses.I think the ability to refuel was one of the problems .I'm sure more debri has been cleared from roads by now too.

cak46 :I sure water is needed because in this situation there really is no clean water. The military may have gotten some water purification units but the really don't have a good way to wash containers so the bottled water will definately help. What do they say if your healthy & not to thin you can go 40days without food but 4 or 5 without water & not that in the heat. I guess I am in the surrounding area and there are victims closer than New Orleans some are supposed to come here to Amarillo's civic center.Amarillo is about 900 miles from New Orleans. DJVangelis: I am suprised to see the foreign country list but I only saw 2 that had a dollar amount.I understand Bush turned down 2 planes full of supplies from Russia.I guess he didn't need them.
-
Hyperspace Over all even though there is some complaining & finger pointing .I think we are united in general on the need to help the victims.I have done some finger pointing through some e-mails to some of the news agencies & other sites.Maybe millions more have done the same.Things seem to be moving now to help I'm not so sure if this could have been accomplished without some finger pointing.Nothing like putting politicians in the bad spotlight to get some positive reaction. But I do plan to see if there is something I can do as victims arrive in my city.

Did you run your computer information on a RAM selling site like Crucial or Kahlon Or even New Egg to at least see what RAM they recomended? Then if you wanted to but it on ebay you would have known better what to look for. I got this from the ebay site you linked to: Works with motherboard CHIPSET *VIA KT-133, VIA KX-133, SIS 630, VIA 693/694, AMD 751 Iron Gate, VIA Apollo 133A Pro Chipsets, *EXCEPT ASUS K7V, A7V. It is not compatible to Apples. Motherboard must support 512 MB in EACH memory slot. Otherwise the system will recognize either 128MB or 256MB or none at all. If you PC takes Total maximum of 512mb or 768mb, this module is NOT compatible. Does your mobo 's slots have a max of 256MB per slot? If it does then that is your problem. You can ony run a 256mb in each slot.If you have 2 slots that would be a total of 512 for both slots 3 slots would let you have a total of 768MB.

MYRIAGON : I haven't had any problem with you & you have been helpful to testmy.I don't think this topic is the correct one
-
Hi FallowEarth : His first tracert to testmy wasn't getting the time outs .They started after he started tracerting to ndt-hc.twaren.net ..I think Eddie misunderstood Van Buren who only wanted him to do the NDT test there. This NDT test is located in Taiwan I think which could explain the timeouts at least partly. So see if Eddie is getting timeouts to a closer site.Maybe testmy again to start with.

cak46 : In my town they are opening the civic center here to the victims .What my city is asking for is bedding so there are different needs for different areas so people need to listen & donate in their area what is needed to help .Not to say that some cash elsewhere wouldn't do some good. tdawnaz & cak46: The need for the blood is not so much for the victims they haven't been getting medical supplies or medical help ( at least yesterday it may have improved by today). The blood shortage will be caused by the blood collection

VampireXxX Do a tracert then the highest value it will be in MS(mille seconds) that is what you use.I think you are a long way from testmy if I remember correctly
-
Nice lowest latency.Which is the top score. My ISP blocks ping so I already know the test won't work for me.

Here's a screen shot of mine:

When you ping with your MTU that is your maximum latency at that time it will change if you do it to a differrrrent site or a different time of day .Not by a great deal.I'm not sure what you should ping with to get the latency for the calculater at cablenut.Van Buren would probably know this too. The test is mostly to give you your max MTU the latency(RTT) is a secondary result. This would be the latency of all the hops added together at least that's what I think is correct.
